We stayed at this wonderful apartment in an authentic Tyrolean home with parking but that is also walking distance to tr

This lovely apartment is located in the hills of Kitzbühel walking distance to gondolas and to the central city where the train station and many restaurants are located. When we arrived we found fresh flowers on the table and a variety of liquors and homemade preserves in the kitchen. Ilona and Hansi were wonderful hosts. Hansi even served as our guide on our first day skiing and gave us ski lessons. He told us the best spots to ski and that is where we spend the rest of our days at the resort. Appartement Aschbach offers an apartment in an authentic Tyrolean home with Old World hospitality. Highly recommended. We hope to return.

A must stay - charm, convenient and comfortable

Our apartment was full of charm, cosiness and comfort. There was absolutely everything catered for and our hosts Ilona and Hansi were incredibly helpful, kind and generous. I cannot recommend staying high enough.

Highly recommended!

Hansi and Ilona have a wonderful apartment just outside the centre of Kitzbühel. It has everything you need and the small personal touches make you feel right at home in its cosy Tirolean atmosphere. We were warmly welcomed by Ilona and could always get in touch if we had any questions. We had to leave early for a long drive home. but were welcome to take our time checking out as there was nobody checking in that day. We were even surprised with a gift bag of homemade local delicacies when we left, which really topped off our stay. We really hope the apartment is available next time we visit Kitzbühel and thoroughly recommend it to anyone else!

Ilona and Hansi were the most hospitable hosts we have ever stayed with in Europe. They very kindly collected us from the train station in the evening and let us into the property. They had thought of everything.The beautiful chalet was so well equipped including a well stocked food cupboard, fridge and even a medical kit. Super comfortable beds and spotlessly clean.

Comfortable stay with amazing mountain view! Suitable for families with babies.

We traveled as a family with 3 months old baby and a family friend. We absolutely loved the place and the hosts - Ilona and her husband. The mountain view out of the windows is amazing! The place is very comfortable and spacious. Everything is thought through to the details - fresh flowers in the dining area and bedroom, candles, wine, coffee and tea as a welcome package. Rooms and beds are spacious and comfortable. Ilona organised a baby crib, changing mat, shower gel and sponge, and lovely welcome package for our baby. Ilona kindly picked us up and dropped off at the train station. They welcomed us warmly with tips for restaurants, ski lifts, and local spots. The area is great for skiers and not - enough things to see, do, and just walk around. We would love to stay again!

The apartment is in a perfect location being quiet, but within easy walking distance of both cable cars and the town. Hansi and Llona are wonderful hosts who have provided every comfort. It is the most well equipped apartment we have stayed in, with many extra kitchen items such as teas and jams. The view of the Hahnenkamm from the main bedroom window is stunning, and highly recommended is the walk from the summit down by the Streif ski run with interesting information boards. This is definitely an apartment to which we would like to return.

Out family of 4 (kids aged 12 and 14) have just returned from a week at Aschbach Apartment. Ilona has created an amazing apartment with real attention to detail and was an amazing hostess. We had EVERYTHING we could possibly want for a very comfortable stay. The apartment is in a great location, easily walkable to the Horn Bahn (even in ski boots and carrying skis) and bus connection to the Hahnenkamm. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We hope to return

Cozy Central Kitz Village Apartment

LOVE LOVE LOVE. We simply had a great week. I took videos of the property with the intention of uploading here for the review but it seems Booking.com doesn’t allow video uploads. Photos don’t do this apartment justice! We are a family of 5 Canadians livings in Singapore. Our kids are 14, 12, 9 at the time of the stay. We are experienced travelers and have stayed in many properties, hotels and Airbnbs. Sometimes I book through a third party site like booking.com but I mostly book direct with chalet owners in Austria. We ski in Austria annually. The apartment is beyond cozy. It has a great vibe with panoramic views to the village and mountains on 3 side of the apartment. Every window offers a beautiful view. It has 3 comfortable and aesthetically styled bedrooms and 2 newly renovated full bathrooms. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need and want to cook and clean up after. You don’t need to buy any cleaning or laundry supplies as it’s all available including hairdryers, high quality shampoo and shower gel - even La Roche Possay facial cleaners and toiletries mini samples, which was a nice surprise and touch. The cabinets are stocked with fresh basics, olive oil, vinegar, jams and seasonings. Coffee, Nespresso pods, creamers. Kids dishes and I also noticed baby and toddler dishes and bibs. They have catered to these fine details and it’s cozy as if you have just arrived at your aunt and uncles home. House slippers (like hotel slippers). The list goes on. We really felt welcome. The owners are lovely. They do live in the apartment upstairs, which is perfect for us because we don’t party and we don’t want our neighbours to party either! One observation I made was that the village and the house was so quiet at night. We loved that. If you want fresh bread, the owners will get it for you in the morning when the bakery opens. They are beyond hospitable. They also did not intrude whatsoever.

I really cannot say anything negative about this property at all. The minute I walked into the apartment, I instantly knew that I would be willing to support the home owners by writing a review. Hansi and IIona are a lovely couple and put every effort and consideration into the details and charm of guest planning to ensure that they are offering the cozy, Austrian chalet experience that people want nowadays (traditional feel with all the modern conveniences). I will say that if you’re looking to “complete” the fairytale winter experience, the apartment does not have a fireplace or a bathtub. However, there is so much to do and see in the village of Kitzbühel and in the mountains with fireplace ambient restaurants and ski huts to visit that you will be too tired to light a fireplace by the time you return home! We were all certainly clocked out by 10pm every night. I did miss the bathtub experience because I don’t have a bathtub in my own house and I do look forward to an epsom salt bath on my ski holiday to ease my muscles after a long day on the slopes. The showers are brand new, spacious, stylish and PERFECTLY clean with high-end Hansgrohe fixtures and rain showers in both bathrooms. We already told Hansi and IIona we will be back! PS I took so many nice photos and videos of the apartment and I can only post 4 highly photos that got cropped when upon upload. Booking.com needs to improve the photo function (don’t crop photos!) and offer a video upload function.
