Great location right in the middle to access 95% of the surrounding NC500 routes. Only thing we missed was Applecross/Skye due to time travelling. Lovely little cottage, spacious, teen loved having her own room unlike staying in hotels etc. Bathroom well equipped with shower/sink/toilet rolls/ towels. Kitchen well equipped with washer/dryer, microwave, cooker, toaster/kettle, cutlery, pots & pans. Tv works well with basic channels. Cleaning products/tea/coffee/tea-towels etc provided.
Parking at front was good to have access too.
Gladly stay here again regardless. Stayed for 7 nights overall, great price for the area/ amenities. Petrol station up by Rogart train station had best priced petrol/diesel aside from Tesco’s in Dingwall just an FYI 😊. Loved the brochures on the tv desk too that you can look for ideas nearby. Overall pleasant experience & a lovely break away from normal life.
Some bits need some TLC, broken blinds, door handle loose & single pained so bit noisy (just keep bedroom door pulled to/closed it’s fine) Ground floor flat which unfortunately led to rather heavy footed neighbours upstairs (unsure if fellow guests or owners) but would start early hours of the morning most days, luckily for my fella he had earplugs... Possibly a little guide going forwards with instructions on wifi, kitchen switch appliances, how to use washer/dryer etc. We managed fine but others may struggle if unsure where to look.
