Shin View Pods

The pictures don't do justice for the view here! Especially when you're soaking in the hot tub. Love the sheep in the front yard and the space itself feels bigger than the pictures as well. The soap provided is locally made and really hydrating. The kitchenette was fantastic for being able to cook our own meals as well as lots of counter space. Just be aware The grocery store is closed on Sundays! The couch was comfy and big enough for multiple people to lounge on. WiFi was speedy. The neighbouring pod is close but it's designed so that you both still have privacy and can't really hear each other unless you're outside. Love the detail of the disposable slippers being provided for the hot tub as well.

There were a lot of little things that were off that accumulated to taking off three stars - only a couple tea bags in open boxes with no sugar, milk, or coffee, only enough dish soap left to wash dishes twice, bathroom door was warped and didn't latch to close (from humidity maybe as it was raining a lot while we were there), the bathroom mirror is on an awkward wall where you have to look sideways or stand over the toilet to see, and the bathroom towel ring kept falling off the wall. Would be nice to have a clothesline or rack to hang wet bathing suits from instead of off the chairs and doors. There were also no towels or the bedding for the pull out couch and I messaged the host about 6:20PM and again around 9 or 10PM but didn't get a response at all. She then appeared the next morning around 8AM with the towels then left and came back with the bedding, saying the cleaner forgot the towels and she didn't know we needed to use the pull out couch. I would think just to have the supplies there if it's offered or to ask to be notified if needed beforehand.

Water pressure in shower could have been more but still a decent shower. Bed was very soft

Waren best wel paar zaken kapot / niet functionerend. Zoals lampjes ( sier), ophang systeem handdoek naast wastafel, wc bril scheef en schuivend en piepende deur ( entree). En geen ruimte (kastje ) voor eigen spullen. En als tip als mensen langer verblijven dan 2 dagen vanuit gastvrouw schone handdoeken aanbieden. Kregen we nu ook maar moesten er zelf om vragen.
