Location. Close to two large markets and just a few blocks from the zocalo.

No window or ventilation in room. Bed was extremely hard. Accused me of taking a hand towel (which I didn’t) but then offered no way to correct the situation.

Good budget friendly place to stay.

Great low budget hotel and close to the main market. We felt safe the entire time and there was secured parking across the street from the hotel. Air conditioning and daily maid service with a smile. Quiet and almost no road noise in the rooms.

It was a bit far from the main cathedral and tourist areas. We had to walk about 8 blocks to get to the best restaurants that weren't in the main square.

Lacks some amenities (like bar and restaurant). but allows you to soak up the character of the city.

The room was large, there was plenty of storage space for cothes etc. Towels were replaced daily. Our room was shielded from traffic noise. Sounds within the hotel echoed loudly though. Staff helpful though some had better english skills than others. Never short of hot water for the shower. Enough power points, once you found them.

The room was windowless and dark for reading. But there was a lounge, and roof top terrace which provided good light.

Great place to stay

We had a lovely room in the quiet back courtyard. Great location near the markets. Was great being able to refill our water bottles from the water dispenser.

No insect netting on the bathroom window vents so we kept the window closed to avoid more mosquitoes from entering the room. Shower temperature was a bit hard to adjust.

it’s in a terrible location. markets and street vendors are all over as well as smells. issued with parking lot. bathroom needs updating. toilet leaked. awful lightning. mattresses were bulky and old

The best part about the property is a location. It is very central and close to everything. The look of the property as exactly as described and expected. it is hard to find hotel with safe parking there and the fact that this hotel had it and it was free was awesome.

It was a little bit inconvenient that the rooms were not ready by 3pm. We were very tired and had big group, so we were given only one room from 3 at the time of check in. Others was not ready. Some thing require repair in the room. You can hear noises from the hallway, but gladly we were so tired after busy days in Oaxaca that we were able to sleep even with that.

Very stuffy and hot room. Fan supplied but we had to use mosquito coils to keep bugs out as you have to have windows open.

Lovely common areas, great location, but make sure you have ear plugs.

The location was great to explore the city by foot, and the common areas were lovely, especially the rooftop terrace and the tiny garden. When we had an issue with our room, they were quick to fix it and gave us a new one.

If you're sensitive to noise, don't get a room around the first courtyard... you will hear guests that arrive super early, and you will hear the doorbell (it's really loud!) if someone arrives after the main door has been closed. After 2 nights without proper sleep, we asked them to move us to another room, which they did, and it was much better.

The location is amazing. super central. .The rooms are spacious and noise free. I liked the black out curatins.The staff was quite nice too. I went during Halloween so prices were high. I felt it could have been a little cheaper for how simple the hotel and rooms are. All in all I think it was a good place for the time. Grateful

Great location, clean and great price.

The location is great, across the markets and walking distance to Santo Domingo. Even though is in a busy street, once inside is quiet and peaceful. Very clean and liked that they had a water filter that we used every day and the water tasted good. It has a nice terrace on top.

The last night we had to wait more than 10 minutes to get hot water in the shower.

Charming staff, close to Mercado de Artisanias, markets & center, simple & comfy!

Great location close to center but a bit off the beaten path, its very quiet with salons, hidden courtyards and terraces overlooking the city. Lovely artwork and small details abound! Every staff member we encountered was cheerful and helpful. Super bonus for providing filtered water machines to refill our bottles! The rooms are simple but comfortable and the parking convenient.

The smell of cleaning products was pervasive and overwhelming at times especially in closed rooms.

Très bel hôtel au calme en plein centre de Oaxaca, bien tenu avec des chambres spacieuses et confortables. La terrasse et les petits patios intérieurs sont très agréables. Nous étions en famille et avons passé plusieurs nuits dans cet hôtel. Très bon accueil du responsable à l'accueil, très aimable, disponible et conciliant. L'emplacement est idéal, à un pâté de maison des deux grands marchés de Oaxaca et du zocalo. Très bon rapport qualité/prix pour Oaxaca.

Les douches pourraient être rénovées... (faible pression et eau chaude capricieuse)
