The rooms were clean, the location was great really close to the center and all touristy attractions

The rooms are not sound proof or you can hear a lot of noise so sleeping past 6:00 am was not possible as they would start setting up the breakfast and cleaning in the terrace and you could hear all the noise the staff would make to set up everything.

Great location and clean. Wonderful shower. Nice that there was a safe. Breakfast area and breakfast were very good. Complimentary parking was also very good.

The location was great in terms of being close to the Zocalo and the staff were accommodating. However, it’s only a functional hotel without some amenities that could have improved our experience. We enjoyed the rooftop terrace with its views of the city.

The breakfast was okay but after a few days with the same menu every day it proved to be tiresome. In short, it’s a tired hotel that could use some upgrades.

This was the most terrible stay that we have had throughout our entire months in Mexico. The place is very noisy. Humidity levels are unbearable, and the staff is the rudest people we have dealt with in the entire city. The staff is very unfriendly. They are disrespectful. They lack the basic manners of hospitality and treating people from different cultures. They are very rigid and completely dishonest.

The staff food level of cleans level of noise and the lack of honesty and the lack of getting any direct response from them.

Wonderful location with extremely helpful staff.

Amazing and super helpful staff that made our stay really special by giving us great recommendations about activities but doing them the cheaper way! Also, free breakfast in the morning was a wonderful surprise. The room was small but had everything we needed in a central location. Will be visiting again!

Fabulous stay and great location

We loved our stay at Real Alma. We arrived early and were able to store our bags while we got lunch. Fabulous location by the main market and walking distance to main square. The room was clean and spacious, with great wifi and air conditioning. We loved the breakfast each morning on the rooftop! Highly recommend staying here!

Nice hotel close to center with good prices.

The room was clean and had a balcony and ac. Internet connection is stable and warm water is coming fast and well. Good breakfast with a lot of options: 2 slices of bread with butter and strawberry jam, a plate of fruit and a dish of either egg, egg with spinach or quesadillas and coffee. Nice roof terrace and parking lot. Personnel in the lobby very welcoming.

The personnel of the breakfast does not explain all details of the breakfast very well, e.g. we asked what options they had and what ingredients it includes, the information were provided incomplete, e.g. egg comes with spinach and onions, information was "egg with spinach". We observed this as well with other guests. The pillows are quite hard and the sink in the bathroom is really small. All small details that are not too bad at all.

I was very comfortable in my room.It was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly.I especially like the breakfast in the morning. It was cooked to order, and delicious. Located only 3 blocks from the Benito Juárez Mercado, it was an easy walk.

Great full breakfasts included. Near centro, just a few blocks away. Very close to Mercado 20th of Noviembre. 10min walk to many colectivo stations that head to villages.

The rooms can get stuffy as there are only windows onto the inner courtyard. AC is available

Not professional at all !

The room is clean but small and noisy. The bathroom is small and very worn. The sink is broken and the tap is constantly dripping hot water. The bathroom has very little ventilation except through a tiny window. The inner courtyard is beautiful with walkways on each floor. There is a nice terrace at the top of the hotel. Breakfast is served there.

We had booked and paid for two rooms: a "standard" room and a "deluxe" room for a 3 night stay. We were given two standard rooms, despite our protests. The only response was to tell us that it was Booking.com's fault and to tell us to go and sleep in another hotel if we were not happy. The breakfast included is a mockery. It consists of a cup of transparent "coffee", a slice of dry bread, a square of butter 10gr and a square of industrial strawberry jam! The staff were obviously not trained for service.

this hotel has an incredible location and modern design. the staff did hard to please us. I can highlight how clean the rooms were.

I didn’t like the booking time managing. I understand their policies about times but personally, it’s ridiculous if the rooms are ready, let the guests waiting until 3:00 just to please their policies. sometimes a bit of common sense will be appreciated.

Comfortable and economical choice

The staff was very helpful. The rooftop patio was lovely and a comfortable place to spend time before check-in/after check-out as needed. Very clean, felt safe. Price was very competitive

The included breakfast was underwhelming, can't speak for the a la carte options which I did not purchase. The room was smaller than expected and noisy from the street.

Good location

The location is very close to the historic centre. Just 200 m away is a shuttle bus to Monte Alban. Wifi was ok. The bed was comfortable but during the night the cover was not enought.

The breakfast included in price was very poor (coffee, a little bit of fruit and small toast). If you want more, you have to pay. No glass in the room. The late check-out was not possible. When we picked our luggage up from the hotel in the evening, we asked for borrowing the small towel to wash ourselves a little bit after few hours in Monte Alban, the receptionist refused it.
