The Broughton Road Residence

The location is excellent, and the flat has a great structure, perfect for 2 adults with 2 toddlers. The dining area was a great comfy place to eat, but I had some trouble fitting in the high chair. There was even a EU plug adapter available which is very thoughtful!

I would have preferred to meet someone when we arrive, but since this is a b2b I know it's not realistic. Couldn't find any napkins, and the flooring was quite creaky and uneven.

Close to the bus station, Tesco was across the street

We had some problems with hot and cold water in the shower, could use bigger closet space (instead, there were random gadgets and stuff we didn't need)

Had cooking facilities that were easy to use and instructions were given for things like the shower. Easy to check in and out

Floor in the living room is slightly sloped so the sofa bed doesn’t sit well on it

The place is cozy and has all the basic requirements, very decent for a few days. Location is nice, friendly area, very local.

It was not very clean, the state of the accommodation was quite poor, looks a bit neglected. Baby crib was not there even though it was confirmed to be there, so we had to wait for this to arrive. It was not clear with number/door it was OR which of the 6 key boxes was the right one, so we had no other choice than to try all of them. After an exhausting trip, this was unnecessary and annoying. Also there were no instructions about which key was for which door, so we kept on trying all of them on every door. A pity as 2 extra sentences of info could save us a lot of time. Also, you can clearly hear all the neighbors all the time, sound isolation not great.
