The property is stunning. Cleanliness second to none and facilities are perfect. This is definitely home from home and owner easily contactable, if needed. Definitely saved as one of my favourite places to stay.

perfect hideaway

Lovely cottage, hidden away and super quiet. A garden is available to have breakfast and coffee in peace. The area is filled with trails to explore. Sarah was an amazing host. With the weather we had and the place we stayed, we couldn't ask for more.

Fantastic calm surroundings with welcoming host!

Tucked away with clear directions in serene, calming surroundings we relaxed instantly. Welcomed by Sarah who showed us around the property. We had use of the garden where there was a table and chairs and stable type doors allowed air flow through. Perfect for 2 couples or a family of 4. Beds were so comfortable with hotel style white crisps sheets. Everything we needed like Sky TV, iron and board, extension lead etc Plenty of kitchen equipment available. There is an Asda just a 5 min drive away to stock up! Sarah advised on routes and transport to Cardiff as we did not want to drive. Castell Coch and forest walk just opposite!

Great accomodation for a short stay in Cardiff

Outstanding location, well situated for local transport and facilities and in a beautiful setting. The proprietor was very welcoming and friendly and went out of her way to provide support and assistance.

Due to mobility difficulties the bathroom, particularly the shower was a little restrictive otherwise the property was ideal.

A quiet, comfortable cottage in an excellent location for local walks or days out exploring.

The cottage was clean and comfortable with some lovely outside space and friendly, helpful host. It is so accessible and gives endless opportunities for exploring countryside, coast and the city of Cardiff, yet is quiet with easy access to local shop, pub, takeaway and lots of local walks too.

Beautiful accommodation with a lovely warm welcome and the most delicious homemade banana loaf 😋 Loved the barn door overlooking the lovely courtyard. The cottage has lots of home comforts too. Pet friendly and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Cardiff 😍

Hidden gem-lovely.

Beautiful cottage in a lovely location. Very comfortable. Welcoming host-left us some wine and cake which was delicious. Convenient for Cardiff and nearby attractions whilst being in a countryside setting. Highly recommended.

Excellent property

The cottage was gorgeous and well maintained. The owner Sarah was very accommodating for a late check out. Sarah had messaged beforehand to let us know how to get to the cottage as it is tucked away a bit and not easily visible. Sarah was able to answer any questions we had and supplied us with names of taxi companies while we were there and was easily contactable throughout the stay. The grounds were gorgeous and very well maintained but the weather wasn't great so we didn't manage to utilise them unfortunately. Overall a lovely stay and would definitely recommend the property as excellent value for money.

Superb

Lovely little cottage in a great location, with everything we needed for a short break. Very well equipped kitchen, good wifi and sky TV. Garden and courtyard was beautiful, just a shame the weather didn't allow us to enjoy it as much as we wanted!

Not a huge problem, but... although it was easy enough to turn the radiators on, it would have been nice to have the heating on when we arrived as it was very cold and the cottage took a while to heat up. Once heated though, it stayed nice and cosy!

A very enjoyable stay in a clean comfortable single floor cottage with parking, on the outskirts of Cardiff.

A good location close to Cardiff. The facilities were good,private with well kept garden areas which must be beautiful in Summer. It was nice to have a sitting area and kitchenette in addition to two bedrooms and a bathroom. The kitchen area was equipped with everything needed for four people. Beds were comfortable and sufficient wardrobe space was provided, and the central heating was good.

There was a small drip from a bathroom tap and the cistern was very noisy at night when filling. The front door had to be locked with a key to keep it closed, perhaps a lock with a latch and handles could be fitted.

The property was well equipped had WiFi and sky tv and the bed in the double room was so comfy. the furnishings were modern and we had everything we needed, a bonus was a lovely hamper which was unexpected and full of Christmas goodies

Hideaway fantastic Welsh cottage

5 star cottage. Brilliant helpful owners. Well equipped including dishwasher and things like towels, washing up liquid/ cooking oil/ tea, coffee, milk and much appreciated Prosecco. Wooden flooring. This is a Dog friendly cottage, I would suggest Dog owners respect the owners generous lawn and walk their Dogs down the lane. Feel secluded yet close to a large Asda and accessible to Cardiff/ M4/ Caerphilly. Use of a sitting area around the rear that is such a lovely space

Not a problem for us but several steps to the main door however there looks to be a more disabled friendly approach so contact the owners. Cottage is all on one level inside.

Lovely stay

The location was ideal, Sarah and Ash were lovely and the property was very neat and comfortable. The provisions were plentiful as well. The garden, though shared was lovely and private enough. Our extremely well behaved puppy had a lovely time!

The shower was very small and showering required some dexerity. A wet room may have used better use of the space. This was the only minor irritant.

Lovely hosts, very relaxing. Felt comfortable staying there with our dog.

Ground floor for my elderly Mum, parking available, enclosed garden where I could play with our dog. Was raining but would have loved to sit out on the pretty patio area in the gorgeous garden.

As mentioned to the hosts, next time we would have liked more luxurious towels. Also mini toiletries would have been welcome.

The cottage was perfect, very spacious, clean and comfy (the bed and bedding were fantastic). Sarah was lovely and was incredibly accommodating.
