Amazing and relaxed getaway

Only thing letting the property down is the on-street parking. Everyday trying to find a space Is A challenge when you had 2 cars like we did. Otherwise it was perfect. Would stay again :)

A comfortable apartment in a village location within half an hour of Cardiff by regular public transport.

The location is good, on regular bus route, and near the train station, which was good as we didn’t have a car. The beds were comfortable and the facilities good. The heating was efficient, which we needed for a January stay.

Although my bed was very comfortable, my sleep was disturbed by noises from the radiators as they heated and then cooled, which probably can’t be remedied with the current heating system

Exceptional apartment with a lovely view.

Wonderful 2 night stay in this lovely apartment. Everything you would need for your stay catered for and all the nice touches like homemade brownies on arrival! Property nicely decorated with a lovely view of the mountain and river running alongside. Would definitely stay again when next visiting the area.

Peaceful stay outside Cardiff

The cottage was a fine size for 2 adults and 2 children. They provided a travel cot and toys to play with. The cottage is as pictured. We would highly recommend it. We got to meet the owners who showed us the heating, which we luckily didn't need and told us about the check out procedure and recommended local places for breakfast.. The co-op shop was less than a minutes walk. Listening to the river flowing out the back was peaceful in the morning. We were lucky to get on street parking straight outside the door.

An absolute gem, a gorgeous little cottage in great location

Very friendly and welcoming little cottage in an excellent location. Really easy access into Cardiff by train, which we did to avoid stadium traffic for a concert. Cottage is cosy, smart, clean and quiet with a gorgeous outside decked area looking out over river and countryside beyond. It is well equipped and very comfortable. Owners left some gorgeous brownies for us too, much appreciated!

Gorgeous view in the back. Impeccably clean. The house is equipped with everything you need. The hosts are super friendly and accommodating.

Great location for my business trip with easy access to railway and Cardiff City. The cottage was spotless and tastefully decorated throughout with all the amenities available for both a long and short stay. The bed was comfortable which rounded off a perfect stay.

Lucy is a fantastic host. Excellent communication and advice on the local area. This is the perfect place to stay. 10/10 does not do the property justice. The local village has several pubs to offer with good food and company. All highly recommended by Lucy.
