This bed and breakfast has that special something-hard to describe- truly family-run and authentic!

We loved our 5-night stay at this authentic, non-commercialized working farm. The hosts, Eva and Simone are as kind and welcoming as can be-genuinely good people!We enjoyed their own homegrown products at breakfast-fresh tomatoes, fresh peaches and even their own delicious ham and eggs! It was a memorable stay and we can highly recommend it! It was a good base for exploring the Piemonte by car. We hope to return and will stay there again.

Lovely countryside bed and breakfast

We had a wonderful time and warmly recommend staying at this lovely family-run bed and breakfast just outside Asti on the Piemontese countryside. The peaches, pears, grapes and hazelnuts grown on the orchard here are delicious and so is the breakfast with lovingly homemade cakes and fruit preserves. The owners are so kind, generous and helpful. Grazie mille!

Authentic and special place to stay with lovely hosts, food, and views

Lovely location with a beautiful view and wonderful hosts who grow lots of produce and share a huge spread for breakfast each morning. They even offered us homemade gelato made from peaches they grow on the property when we returned from dinner. One of my favorite stays ever!

Wonderful stay. Next time we’ll stay longer

Second stay at this delightful BnB in the Italian countryside. Situated on a hazelnut and peach orchard with chickens in the yard and a beautiful vista down the valley. Room was spacious with lovely view and good wifi and air-conditioning. A substantial breakfast with eggs and fruit and beautiful homemade conserves and cake was provided by the friendly generous hosts.

Luxury on the farm

This was a repeat visit because Eva and Simon are such wonderful hosts and the property is wonderful, in the middle of a working farm. It's clean and calm and there are fresh ingredients from the farm at the breakfast.

Excellent place for anyone looking to experience life in rural Italy.

Excellent selection of foods and drinks at breakfast. Most or all was produced locally and/or by the proprietor. The food was tasty and plentiful. We received all that we asked for and more. The family running the farm were very friendly and accommodating. I can say without hesitation that our stay at Al Canei was by far the best we have stayed at in many years. We would heartily recommend this wonderful piece of paradise to anyone.

A wonderful stopover in a really special place.

Beautiful home/farmstay situated amongst peach and hazelnut tree orchards with chickens and pigs too. Lovely large room with aircon and refrigerator and well equipped bathroom. Large communal terrace with lovely view down the valley and dining room area for delicious breakfast. Coffee available any time. All produce including wine produced on the farm. Wonderful generous host Simon who encouraged us to walk through the orchard and get some delicious peaches and who provided wine he made for us to drink.

Perfect hosts in a perfect location

If I could give this property 11 out of 10 I would. This is a farmhouse located a few kilometres out of Asti with the most beautiful views down the valley. There is a lovely covered terrace where guests can sit. The bedrooms are large and air conditioned, with very comfortable beds. The hosts Simone and Eva were absolutely lovely, and nothing was too much trouble for them. Eva provided the most exceptional breakfast every morning and we were also able to have aperitivi and dinner by arrangement, all produce from their farm and utterly delicious. This is one of the very best places we have stayed in Italy and we would go back again in a heartbeat. Thank you Eva and Simone!

Perfect Piedmont farm stay

Our stay at the farm, looking out at the rolling hills, grape vines and fruit trees, was fantastic. The breakfast was delicious, with homemade jams and juices. We left with jams, honey and wine produced by the family. We would love to go back. Wish we'd stayed longer.

Fantastic stay with wonderful hosts

We didn't really know what to expect from our stay at Al Canei B&B but it turned out to be a real gem, quite and secluded it was a perfect place to relax amongst the vineyards and orchards. Eva and Simone were perfect hosts and we were able to sample their wonderful produce including there wine which Simone was very passionate about. Breakfast was fabulous with produce from the farm and beautiful home made cakes, we really felt at home here.

Amazing room in a beautiful setting

The place is amazing. The room was clean and spacious, the property is very beautiful and you can park on site. The hosts speak English and are super responsive. I contacted them via Whatsapp, even late and they still managed to help. I had to leave a bit early in the morning and they even made the breakfast earlier for me. Great breakfast with a lot of choice. You feel at home and have free access to the fridge and delicious snacks and drinks. I would definitely go back or recommend it.

A warm and welcoming B&B

First of all it is a pleasure to meet the hosts. We feel thankful that they share this beautiful place with travellers and visitors. The rooms are spacious and the house offers everything one might need to feel at home and find a peace of mind. The farm produces delicious fruits and other things and you can enjoy them at breakfast. The quiet surroundings are fantastic. You can walk to Asti go by bus.

Abbiamo soggiornato in due in questo agriturismo B&B per visitare Asti e paesi limitrofi. La struttura si trova su una collina con una vista incantevole sulla natura circostante. I gestori della struttura sono stati di una gentilezza e disponibilità che difficilmente si riscontrano nelle strutture. La colazione è stata per quantità e qualità impeccabile con delizie di ogni tipo. Le camere nella struttura sono tre. Le galline che razzolano nel loro spazio dedicato sono bellissime. Struttura e proprietari gentilissimi e cortesissimi. Prezzo adeguato alla qualità. Consigliatissimo.

Tutto, davvero un posto delizioso immerso nel verde delle Langhe, aria pulita e soprattutto gestito da persone squisite, che ci hanno accolti e coccolati in maniera eccelsa, facendoci provare i loro prodotti a km 0, davvero una colazione “dal produttore al consumatore”!
