Got in and out quickly

Great value hotel

For a two star hotel this was excellent. It is very close to the station which suited us, but still not a long walk from the rest of town. The rooms was a good size and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very adequate with lots of good coffee.

Worth a stay.

Location, the hotel is a few minutes walk from the town which has lots of restaurants to choose from, it’s a really vibrant place. The staff are really excellent and can’t do enough for you. We were able to park our motorcycle in the garage for safety too. The breakfast was continental and very good. Our room was small but comfortable and clean.

There’s a bar next door which we didn’t try but the groups of African men hanging around outside the bar and along the walk to town made us feel uncomfortable.

Friendly, beautiful ladies at reception. 2 steps from the train station. All ok, breakfast man was lovely, made a big cappuccino for me to start the day well. Thank you :-))

Good location, comfort, hospitality

The location is perfect: Asti is a beautiful and exciting town but since Hotel Cavour is located next to the train station, it can also be the perfect base for exploring the region. The Hotel itself is really pleasant and cosy - of course, no luxury but I have seen four-star hotels in worse condition. My room was comfortable and clean, and the reasonable price included a breakfast also. The staff is very helpful and friendly, they create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The walls are very thin, even the conversation can be heard from the neighbouring rooms - as is unfortunately the case in many hotel buildings. It's worth bringing earplugs or - if it is possible - asking for a room where there are no neighbours.

Home away from home!

It's a family run hotel so everything seems to be done with a lot of care. Nadia at the Reception was very friendly and helpful and her elderly parents, obviously the founders, were also on hand to greet the guests, so the whole atmosphere was like being in a "family"!. My single room (101) was of an adequate size and newly refurbished. The shower was modern and in perfect working condition! My travel companions' double room (108) was of a good size, with a balcony and with a similarly good shower! Breakfast, mostly Continental, was adequate. Everything was very clean and in good order. The hotel is right in front of the Railway Station and a short walk away from all the cities' main attractions. The Tourist Board map available at the hotel desk shows them on the map with a brief description of each, which we found very helpful. Plenty of restaurants and bars also within walking distance. There is a parking right in front of the hotel, with Parking metres, but we were lucky enough that there was a space available in their own parking, free of charge. Although it is classified as a 2-star hotel, it could really be a 3 star. If we ever go back to Asti, we would certainly go back to the same hotel.

Being in front of the Railway Station, the area around the hotel seems a bit daunting at first, but we found it was not a problem and in the evening it quietens down.

The owners are so helpful, kind and nice. The hotel is in the right place in the town. You leave the car in the safe parking and then you can walk around, it is perfect. Don’t look for another place for your stay: it is here.

I loved it!

§the host has been so nice. I am allergic to diary and she provided all the possible solutions for me to have a breakfast! Room is clean and well equipped. The hotel is nearby to the railway station and 5 minutes by foot from the downtown.

Since it's right by the side of the railway station, the zone is populated by the immigrants mostly, but we didn't encounter any particular problem.

Small hotel in city center. Lovely staff, we got help with secure parking. Good break first. We asked for recommendation regarding a vine yard to visit. The owner called there local supplier that agreed to open for us on a Sunday :-) Great affordable wines. Please visit La Milanesa 1917. GREAT. Thank you for your help

Excellent value for money and great host!

Good location by the station and short walk into town. Nadia was a fantastic host and I was able to store my bike in the garage. Room and bathroom a good size and refreshments provided in a fridge. There was a good selection at Breakfast. Overall excellent value for money.

For a flying visit in transit for work it ticked all the boxes with regards value for money.

Handy location in front of the railway station with city centre nearby. Friendly welcome and very clean room. Excellent value for money.

For a non-Italian not used to eating biscuits and cakes for breakfast the choice was limited. Almost everything in packets. Some cereal or bacon and eggs would have been appreciated.
