Superbe appartement de 2 chambres au cœur du quartier Gambetta

Great location, large airy appartment. Clean and well maintained. The beds were comfy and I know my sister appreciated the coffee machine, especially as some coffee pods had been left! A few cooking things (oil etc) were available as well, though probably best to bring what you need if you are eating in, though there are so many good restaurants on your doorstep. Super access to local transport and a whole heap of shops, bars and restaurants. The check in document provided additional information about the area and places to see/go. The hosts reached out daily to ask if everything was ok. Was in a lovely old building in a backstreet of town, though close to the busy vibe of the area.

None of the following are biggies but are things that perhaps could be improved and I hope are helpful to know in advance. They did not really impact our stay, but would have been good to know prior. For those of you with mobility concerns - the appartment is up three flights of stairs, with no lift. Not unusual for these lovely old buildings. Earliest check in (free) is not until 4pm and you have to book a request for a specific check in appointment time through the app so someone can meet you. Our requested appointment time was not confirmed until an hour before we arrived (after a chase to get confirmation). We had evening plans, and so it could have have been more complicated if the requested appointment had not been free - luckily it was. This is not explained prior to booking and good to be be aware off. Check out is self check out with instructions to leave the key in the dessignated place though none is given. We requested the information and were given the answer after we'd left. Might be worth clarifying this on arrival. Rather than put a hold on a security deposit, as many places do, the full €500 is taken upfront. As I'm writing this review the day following our stay it is still to be returned.

Excellent location and easy to find. Close to bus stop for Gare St Jean bus. Accommodated an early check in. Good size for 4 adults. Would rebook.

Unable to purchase replacement coffee pods even from the Nepresso shop. No corkscrew!

The size of the apartment was great for 2 couples sharing,location to all the interesting sites we’re walkable and lots of restaurants in area

Little noise from all the late night bars

Location was good & large rooms.

We asked to drop our cases early which was agreed but unfortunately our host fell off her bike so we waited for an hour. It was 6 flights of stairs up not great for my 83 year old Mum. Months worth of dust under beds. Wi-Fi & Tv not working.
