You will be staying in one of the chicest and most harmonious neighborhoods of Bordeaux, just steps from the Golden Triangle, Place de la Comédie, Place Tourny, Les Quinconces, Place des Grands Hommes and the Grand Théâtre. At the other end: the City Hall (Palais Rohan), Saint-André Cathedral and the Pey-Berland Tower crowned with the gilded bronze Lady of Aquitaine. Luxury boutiques, theatres and Bordeaux's finest restaurants are all within easy reach.
From Mérignac Airport: Tram F to Meriadeck then 10 minutes on foot.
From Gare Saint-Jean: Tram F to Palais de Justice, then 15 minutes on foot. Or bus G to Saint Seurin then 3 minutes on foot.

Excellent location and plenty of windows for ventilation. A little noisy with the windows open on hot days. Several small problems that could be resolved with more attention by management.

We had a fantastic stay in beautiful Bordeaux and this apartment in Place Gambetta was the perfect base. It is located close walking distance to all the sights as well as shops and a wide range of bars and restaurants.
The flat itself was spacious and stylish (ideal for 2 couples or a family). The communication with the hosts/property managers was also excellent.

The faucets in kitchen and one bathroom sprayed all over the place, there were no dish towels to wipe dishes , the dishes were dirty, spotted, there was an odor from the toilets as they didn’t really flush properly, no extra garbage bags, dusty. Very difficult to enter with keys, finally got in. Location was good, close to center, spacious.
