That bad we handed the key back and left

There was parking but not much space to turn around

The property was not as the description or the photos, tiny rooms, dated and wallpaper hanging off the walls just covered with white paint, toilet was tiny with a saniflow waste system that was noisy and the noise from the traffic was loud through the windows

The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good, nice choices and bed was comfy. Great value for money.

Room was slightly on the smaller side but for a great price and only staying one night I really wouldn’t complain about anything.

Rooms over the top of a curry house, decor of the 1960s with no investment

I stay in hotels at least twice a week every week & without exception this is the worst “deluxe” room I have ever stayed in! Four post bed but no room either side, en-suite the same size as a motorway services cubicle! Shower well pipes of bath taps!! Wall paper on the ceiling inc en suite! Toilet seat falling off, stains on carpet, main light with all shades missing, bulbs missing & not working, rooms over the top of a curry house! Endless but avoid or be disappointed

The bedroom is very antiquated and had very poor decorations. The pillows were very old and flat and had a lot of condensation on the very old windows. Did not find it welcoming no separate bar it is in the restaurant. The Indian meal was ok.

Witney stay

Staff are really friendly and helpful, my room was cosy and warm. The food was excellent. Very good value for money compared to other places in Witney.

Car park entrance is on a busy mini roundabout and I missed it the first time I went by. The hotel is a restaurant downstairs and whilst there is a bar and a sofa area, it's not very conducive to sitting and chatting if that's what you want to do.

Friendly staff, breakfast was OK and quickly delivered. Off road parking at property.

The 4 poster bed in room 1 is a little to large for the room as it was a little tight getting between one of the bed posts and the corner of the bathroom. Also the bed was creeky and held tight be blocks of wood between the headboard and the wall. Overall the room looked tired and needed a little attention to detail.

Great accommodation with private parking right in the heart of Witney!

Great accommodation right in the heart of Witney. The rooms are cosy—not very big, but very comfortable. The hotel also offers private parking, which is extremely convenient as there aren’t many parking options nearby. Breakfast was very good, and we also tried the Indian restaurant in the evening. We really enjoyed it: tasty and generous dishes, a lovely atmosphere, and very helpful staff who recommended excellent options based on our preferences.

Stay here on your trip to Witney

It is convenient to what I do when I visit (once a year, for quite some time). The owners are great, I really like the feeling in the hotel. The breakfast is good, and the restaurant for supper is excellent. It is the cheapest I can find in Witney, but does not feel ’cheap’. I always look forward to staying there.

There is a flashing red light from a gadget in the ceiling. I hadn’t noticed this before, I was in the rooms in the other area, so I don’t know if it is new or what. I had to wrap my head in a scarf. The sinks are awfully small for rinsing out clothes.

Lovely staff but poor room in need of an overhaul

We liked the location as it was near to the town

It needs an overhaul ! We knew it wasn’t going to be luxury but it was very dated and the shower had lots of Mold in the grout , the toilet door didn’t close properly , there was cable sticking out the wall . It was noisy in the fact that we could hear every other guest moving around , using the loo and talking .
