Camp Leopard - Yala Safari Glamping

Beautiful location- perfect for our family of 7 with 5 Teens. The accommodation was excellent and we were all really well looked after and made to feel comfortable. The staff are all so friendly and it did not feel fake. Our Teens had great fun playing games in the communal area and relaxing together. We stayed for two nights and did a full day safari in Yala block 5…. This did not disappoint and we saw a wide variety of animals including Leopards, Sloth Bear, tonnes of amazing birds, elephants and crocodiles. It felt ethical and our guides were very considerate of the animals and we did not feel we were in crowds of people at all. The food at Camp Leopard was some of the best food we ate during our 3 week trip in Sri Lanka- we ate evening meals outside and had a great variety of meat and vegetarian food to cater for us all. Would highly recommend.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Camp Leopard. The location is truly exceptional, surrounded by nature and offering an incredible feeling of being immersed in the wilderness. It is a peaceful and unique place, perfect for an authentic and unforgettable experience. We would especially like to highlight the kindness and helpfulness of the entire team. Everyone was incredibly welcoming, attentive and caring throughout our stay. We immediately felt at home, and every little detail was taken care of to make our experience as enjoyable as possible. The food was also excellent, with delicious, fresh and varied meals. After a day out in the wilderness, it was a real pleasure to come back to such high-quality cuisine. A very special thank you to our guide, whose knowledge of the wildlife, the park and the surrounding environment was truly impressive. He was passionate, patient and extremely professional, and his expertise made our safari experience even more fascinating. We also really appreciated the respect he showed towards the animals and their natural environment. We would highly recommend Camp Leopard to anyone looking for an authentic, peaceful and memorable wildlife experience. Beautiful place and setting, immaculately kept.

The accommodation was lovely but the staff were exceptional. They couldn’t be more friendly and accommodating.

This is easily the best place we have stayed in Sri Lanka. The glamping tents are very comfortable, the food excellent, the staff wonderfully welcoming and the attention to detail is high. The camp lounge and outside eating, everything js great and the ambiance exactly what you would wish for. The safari experience is clearly excellent with very on point driver and knowledgeable guide.
