Gooderson Leisure Fairways Self Catering

Spectacular mountain views. Fairways units are well maintained, neat and comfortable. We loved the indoor fireplace, dstv and the resort facilities. The access to the Hydrojet pool, jacuzzi and sauna at the LaVita Spa for a small fee was reasonable and a lovely treat during a winter trip.

It should be mentioned that soap, shower gel and shampoo are only provided as a welcome courtesy...especially if you are a larger group staying over a few days.

Fairways is in a beautiful majestic part of the Drakensberg.

We have been coming to the resort for over 30 years. Have found in recent visits that the resort doesn’t seem to be well maintained. The internal roads are in very poor condition, made pushing a baby in a stroller very difficult. In our allocated unit 123 the utensils in the kitchen were very poor. There was not one sharp knife in the drawers. We requested another knife and that too was blunt. There were no Tupperware’s or anything to put leftovers in. The tongs were broken we went to reception to request a replacement. The units need a good upgrade in general. It was very disappointing as had overseas family with us. We enjoyed our too meals at the clubhouse - delicious mini lamb bunny chows.
