Not what we had booked.
Good location at the marina area. Spacious balcony.
Problem is: it wasn’t the same place as the one shown on the booking photos. 🤔. By the time I realized, we had unpacked and settled in. It was the same building but a different apartment. And my lower score is because it was dirty. And not prepared properly for guests. See photos attached of dishes left in the oven, ripped sofa cover. There was also someone’s personal medication in the bathroom cupboard! No idea what happened to the apartment we had booked? Was it double booked by mistake and we were given the owners flat instead? Would love an explanation if possible.

The gentleman who welcomed us was very kind, helpful, and pleasant to talk to. He even accompanied us to the parking area. The apartment was very clean, spacious, and had many amenities. The view was beautiful — you could see the sea below and a large part of Genoa.

The place is in a very good location. The room is very nice, and can be split in two rooms if you travel with your kids, which we found very usefull.
The host is from another world in a bad way. We booked a room for Friday, and few days before arrival found out that there is a strike to be held in Italy on planes and trains on Friday . The whole Italy was informed, and Europe travellers as well. In that case flight company offered to change the tickets to one day earlier, but we have contacted this person first to check if they can give us a room for extra day on thursday, and he agreed, but since where was no booking done we relied on his word. We have all the communication which was done via booking.com messaging . Dates been written with words and numbers. And of course when we went to the place, we had to search for him over an hour, since we did not have keys. His phone was switched off and everything pointed out that we will be left on street for that night, since we arrived at around 17-18pm. That being said we found this guy in a close by restaurant by mistake, and he defended himself about the room, which was of course already occupied, and he thought that we needed a room extra night after friday no before. And that he speaks very bad english, and did not understood me. But when you compare prices for weekdays which we agreed on 150 EUR and weekend 250 EUR. So in no world he would have agreed 150 for saturday as he claims to be confused. We mostly believe that he just sold that room and probably got a better deal. Of course he offered us to find a new place for that night , which was at his friends place for 300 EUR on the weekday. We managed to book a room next to his place on a hotel and since we already paid for his appartment for friday 3 weeks before we had to return back the next day. And his behavior was completely opposite, been very nice, spoke good english and was talking how know he must find a tenant for the saturday, but when checked on booking system this was already sold. PS anyone booking his appartment check next by restaurant for him and keys, as you will bump into locked gate.

Loved the apartment it was just like the pictures. Loved the location. Loved the view. There was also a cafe bar and restraunt downstairs which was good. Ali the manager was very helpful. He let us leave our luggage until we could check in.
Could do with curtains to pull across the windows for privacy.

Nice place in port directly. Very good time spent in Genova. Wonderfull place , very good equiped, tea, coffee, salt and pfeffer and anothet usefull things for short and long stay. Nice people, clean and really unforgetable. Thank you.

quick overnight stay before flight
beautiful, very comfortable and well equipped suite with amazing view
all the restaurants in the old port were closed at night and it was quite a long walk into the town and we felt a bit intimidated by groups of young men congregating in alleyways and at the top of staircases

Decor was beautiful, bed was super comfy and the shower was great.
as it’s above the front main entrance it’s noisey at night when people come and go or stand chatting in the hallway but that’s the only down everything else was wonderful.

The apartment was spacious, everything was immaculately clean and very homely, the views from the balcony are beautiful and it’s very quiet at nighttime. WiFi is reliable and the owner of the property could not do enough for us when we were on our way to the property and during our stay, the best customer service I have ever received, took time out to suggest restaurants. assisted us with taxi bookings and guided us on what to see and do, absolutely exceptional.

Very good location to visit the aquarium, the old town and the harbour. Private parking nearby (2 min walk) - a big advantage! A large outdoor terrace overlooking a part of the harbor, the submarine and the Galata museum.
Kitchen with all the things you need - including coffee capsules , tea bags, dishwashing detergents.
There's also a washing machine, a baby cot and an iron in the app
Excellent wi-fi.
The music from the bars below can be quite noisy at night.

- Loud on weekends (we were there on a Saturday) until 01.00 (bar with karaoke below), need to close windows
- No curtains make it difficult to handle lighting

Ali, our personal check-in manager, forgot our arrival. We waited almost 30 min, during this time he was "cleaning" the apartment. It was old, badly maintained, cheap. The kitchen was dirty and the air conditioning did not work properly.

No instructions left in the apartment and could not operate the TV, which was balanced on an unstable wall bracket because the stand was missing. Good location but there can be a lot of noise, the bar below played loud live music until 1am!

Spacious, airy apartment
The location was excellent, and the private parking a big advantage. The apartment is spacious and airy with an outdoor terrace. A washing machine is provided - useful for a long stay. Angelo, the local representative, is helpful and the owners checked mid-week that everything was OK. Excellent wi-fi. Animals accepted.
Only one set of keys for the apartment is not enough.
The apartment is excellent, but would benefit from some refreshing, especially the kitchen where there is only a single socket for three electrical appliances.
The electric sockets are very particular, and not easy to find adaptors for. We found a hardware store that had to cut off one of the pins of a standard european adaptor. It would help if adaptors for european plugs were provided by the apartment.

Good place for a short stay close to major public transport.
It's a really bright room with a view of the old town (not on the seaside). The mattress was very comfortable and big. The bathroom was provisioned with Shampoo and Conditioner and a real hairdryer! Overall it was quite clean and very spacious. The apartment is really warm and has a separate area for your luggage and extra blankets. Those two big armchairs are really comfortable for relaxing while looking out side over the balcony.
The sheets smelled of second-hand smoke although they were nicely pressed and clean. In the kitchenette, there was no olive oil and there was only a couple of tabs for the coffee machine not enough for my stay. I was told that due Corona Virus they didn't re-stock the kitchen (so fair enough). No tea towel and just a little bit of dish soap.
Unfortunately, you can hear people coming in and out of the building, and when the main door downstairs closes its quite noisy. ( to no fault to the host tho)
The internet was a bit touch and go. I had to use my own for streaming movies.

Posizione spettacolare con balcone proprio sopra al sottomarino del museo Galata, 5 minuti a piedi dall' acquario.
