Only minutes to downtown and the Arkansas River, stay on a historic ranch in the heart of Salida. This single family home has many updated amenities including a new heating system installed in the summer of 2025!
To be on 300 secluded acres and a short distance from all of the enjoyment of Salida makes this a one of a kind experience. The ranch is three miles from town, with myriad possibilities for adventure, including horseback riding, boating the Arkansas River, hiking, biking, fishing, skiing at Monarch Mountain, shopping, and delicious eats! The Chavara Ranch has kept the old charm of the original homestead. Once you visit, you will come back year after year!
The ranch house has been remodeled and features a luxurious master suite with a 5 piece bath. Upstairs there is a well appointed bathroom and large rooms all with their own vanity and queen size bed. The cozy living area has a hearth and fireplace. The kitchen has an island and a large adjoining dining room for family meals. The Chavara Ranch is perfect for family time, ambling around the acreage in awe of the views and stars, wandering deer, horses, and Angus cows, or adventuring out to explore Salida's many offerings - We look forward to your enjoyment!
