This cabin was clean and had everything we needed. My five year old grandson couldn’t have said it better when I told him on our last day that we were going to go back home and he wanted to know why, because the cabin was perfect. The location was beautiful, and the directions to get there were clear and easy to follow. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay.

This cabin was great! Plenty of space for 3 families. The kids loved the little book nook and the hot tub. We loved sleeping with the windows open and hearing the stream nearby. The deck was amazing and we had hummingbirds visit all day and night. The proximity to monarch crest and salida made it perfect for us!

The house was absolutely amazing. Away from everything, but close to lots of things to do. We were in town for a wedding and hosted a group of grandparents and aunts and uncles and it had plenty of space. The hot tub was great and the kitchen had everything. Can't think of a single thing I wouldn't give a 5.

We visited in July for hiking, fly fishing, rafting and family fun. Monarch Hideaway had all the things we needed. We cooked several meals, and the kitchen was well supplied. (Just make sure you check the cabinets under the island too.) There were plenty of towels, beds, games, books, etc. at the cabin also. There is a wonderful second story porch and a lower patio with a really nice hot tub for outdoor living at the cabin. We were most impressed with how clean the cabin was. My husband and I were joined by three of our adult children and our daughter-in-law. We had a marvelous time! Note that there are other cabin/homes nearby. However, the cabin is a bit outside of any restaurants, towns, activities etc. so you will need a car. We traveled to Salida, Buena Vista, Leadville and Crusted Butte from the cabin.
