Location was excellent - the ocean view was amazing and so nice to have our coffee on the balcony which is wider than the photos suggest.
The only draw back to renting an apt is that there was no living area to sit on a couch and relax. It was not a huge deal as we were gone most days and just came home and lounged on the bed for a little bit before sleeping.

The host was amazing. Very responsive on whatsapp daily and happy to be very flexible with plans for our arrival time. Also checked in on us from time to time to check we were ok. And arranged a taxi for us for our return to the airport.
The apartment location is perfect. With lovely views of Vesuvius from the balcony. It is right in the heart of the town with all the shops and restaurants within a few minutes. A lovely café next door where we went for breakfast. (There are no cooking or food prep facilities in the apartment just a kettle). It has its own entrance and a lift (it's on the third floor) and all accessed with a pin code so you don't need to remember keys. It's very clean and modern with nice furnishings.
I would've liked another pillow, as we are used to having 2 each at home.
The bed also was not very comfortable for us as it was very hard, but that is personal preference.
It was very small, and there is no real spaces to sit about, just a table with 2 chairs and a v small balcony (with 2 chairs) or the bed, but this was not a problem as we did not sit in there very much, I'm sure most people just use it as a base, as it is perfect for that.
