Transition phase

Leelawadee bungalow is modern and comfortable although lacking privacy if curtains aren’t drawn! Great scenery in the trees & visit from monkeys in the morning.

Per previous reviews, there is quite a bit of work going on at the resort. They are expanding 30/40 new bedrooms towards the road so there is building noise all day. The main pool area was out of action although the small pool was open. The restaurant and bar area felt empty and unfinished, and half the ingredients on the menu were out of stock!

Some work to be done

Recently stayed for 2 nights & switched rooms after night 1. We really like the Leelawadee bungalow & that’s shown in the price.

The floral bungalow on night 2, decor was a bit tired & steps up to the room were quite rotten/loose.

Great location

Good food and beautiful location/site. Nice and peaceful and relaxing. Noise of the monkeys in the morning.

Not sure if we misheard the dinner time, however we went to go for dinner at 6pm to be told to come back at 6:30pm because there was a group already there.. however we saw others go for dinner not long after us and we're served. Our room got a bit (a lot) of condensation. We were located right near the front so we had everyone walking past looking in and the neighbours beds looked right across into ours.

Peaceful, cool experience!

Beautiful peaceful location. Value for money Quick walk through the jungle to the Khao Sok village with lots of bars, restaurants and mini marts. Comfortable bed, clean room with good aircon. Breakfast was basic but yummy.

Construction going on at main pool bit of an eye sore but luckily it is not to warm in the jungle so didn’t need to use.

Disappointing hotel on a nice location

Location is quite nice.

Run down place. Under construction. Even at the breakfast buffet. 1 meter from the food they were plastering . Terrible. There are much better and better value places to find in the area.

Location was convenient for walking into khao sok village. Unique resort in great setting with monkeys & wildlife. Spacious family room

Tired resort. Room clean but was old & tired with visible signs of damp. Pool was not useable as partly under maintenance which we were not told about and the rest looked dirty. Breakfast offerings limited and when we ate on a lunch time they couldn't even do a Massaman curry as they had no coconut milk 🤦🏼‍♀️

Overpriced

The location in the trees is amazing! Really unique and special. The staff was very friendly.

The curtains were extremely smelly. The matrace seemed to be really old and it was dirty. Sure, there were fresh sheets on it but we checked underneath. The ceiling was dirty, it seemed like there was a nest of something behind it. It was visible on the surface. All in all i it was ok clean. But for the price you definitely expect top notch cleanliness. It is overpriced.

Fun treehouses in paradise

Amazing rooms in the trees! We had connecting rooms as a family and they were clean and very spacious with comfortable beds. Pool was lots of fun, children particularly enjoyed jumping in from the rock areas and one day we were joined by a troop of monkeys. The staff were amazing and really helpful, they arranged bamboo rafting and lake tour which we all thoroughly enjoyed. Was worried the lake tour would be too crowded, but it felt just right. They also arranged our transport from surat Thani and onto krabi. Would love to come back!

Good hotel in the area , would stay again

Great location, amazing view as it looks like the photos. Good food in the restaurant and they also prepared us some breakfast because we were leaving early in the morning. Great communication with the personnel via emails and in the hotel everyone was very helpful. Would definitely recommend the hotel.

Please be aware before you book that if you pay by card there is an extra charge of 3.5% which is not communicated before, the hotel only sends an email after the confirmation of the booking and all the rooms have to be paid in the hotel, so the price is higher of what you see in booking. The beds and the pillows were very hard so the sleep wasn’t the best. Also the swimming pool seemed very dirty, they need to clean it more often so people can use it.

Looks lovely and scenic. Clean. Loved seeing monkey’s at breakfast (the reason we stayed). Arrived a little early but could check into room as it was ready. Reception/ office staff friendly and helpful.

Sometimes the restaurant staff seemed a little off with us, like they couldn’t be bothered serving us or were more attentive to other guests.

Great quiet stay in a great hotel

We stayed for 1 night at the Dalah room. Breakfast was great. Room was clean and comfy with a nice balcony and great view of the forest. Shower was also great - I saw some reviews complaining about the water pressure but we didn’t have any issue with it. Walking to the village with mini market and restaurants is about 20 minutes by foot (5 min. by car). Staff is really nice.

The best of the best!

Wonderful and unique place!!! A lot of nature and fantastic veiw, unique room on the trees, big Restoran with really good food and tasty breakfast, nice pool, a lot of cute monkey 🐒, very friendly staff, very comfortable and big bad, big bathroom with fantastic view:) We really enjoyed being here and really want to be back and be more in this beautiful place. It is one of the greatest place in Thailand!

The cutest rooms built like tree houses! We loved our stay here. Very relaxing and secluded. The property is beautiful. The rooms are large and comfortable. We had an issue with the Wi-Fi the first day. A monkey chewed through the wire causing the Wi-Fi to go out. The staff gave us a hotel cell phone with a hotspot to allow us Wi-Fi in the room until the wire was fixed. This was above and beyond! The on-site restaurant was very good and priced well. Would highly recommend!

had a lovely short stay in the resort.

the location was good. the treehouses are very nice. the staff was very helpfull, especially mint from the reception. she helped us with booking from all the tours. and because it was quiet and there was no reservation after us we could have a late check out for free, so we could shower after our jungle hike and relax a bit before our pick up. the breakfast was specially prepared for us, allergies are also taking care for. the beds were also really comfy for thailand (hard bed) standards!

nothing in particulere, but there was some reconstruction going on. the pool was not really inviting or accesable. some parts of the finished buildings are in need of renovation.

near house is not finished constructions everywhere, the view is not good . monkeys were aggressive, i think the staff should improve safety of tourists. the pool is not comfortable and not easy to reach, and it looks not usable. bathroom needs renovation, all bungalow wasn’t clean, there’s too big gaps between walls and windows, so mosquitoes could easily get it .
