Simple and value for money

Stay for two nights. The big plus is the host Tor she is honest kind and helpful. Offer me good advice and help a lot. Very affordable price.

There are two big dorms, both are along the main road and you can hear the noise for all traffic pass by over night. Facilities is a bit old especially bathrooms and toilets, the bed is ok. Location is a bit distance from downtown with 10mins walk. Overall is still ok. Not many ppl staying there, it happens to be me only in the big dorm -

The hostel is a great value for what you get. Clean beds and clean bathrooms each day and the woman in charge is doing a wonderful job and her English is great which is very helpful

Unfortunately when the lady in charge isn't around the other staff are a bit less fluent in English which makes planning trips and getting information a bit tricky

Very good stay!

Staff were so friendly! We booked the overnight bungalow tour through them and was all very easy and organised. Free breakfast included for the morning before we were picked up for the tour and they supplied luggage storage while we were on the tour. Rooms were clean and mostly comfy.

It is located a bit further out of the town than other places, but was a very manageable 10min walk.

Great!

The hostel was located on the main street as the rest of them, having many restaurants nearby. The rooms were very comfortable and the showers were clean. The staff was friendly and they can also help with booking tours or recommending places to visit around.

I wish the showers didn’t have a urinal. I’m pretty sure men can pee in the normal toilet which you can close while showering.

Ideal for a couple of nights - very happy

Staff very friendly and helpful. Massive rooms- high ceilings, larger than single beds, locker for valuables, privacy curtains. Communal sinks, toilets, showers etc were always clean. Free refillable water available as well as tea and coffee. Large communal area with tables and chairs for socialising. Able to book transfers and tours through hostel. Overall very pleased.

On the outskirts of Khao Sok village so short walk to get to restaurants etc - not a problem for us but something to be aware. Was rather expensive as hostels go… paid more here than we have for some hotels we’ve stayed in with private facilities, but limited choice forced our hands. However we were pleased that the hostel was clean and had all the above positive points mentioned given the price.

Perfect! You’ll see me again!

Great spacious beds with nice curtains, loads of space in your bed (Almost a double bed) with a power socket in your sleeping cabin. Lockers for your valuables. Two AC’s to make it as cold as you like in the room. Balcony’s and drying racks to dry your clothes. Very clean bathrooms and soap and shampoo is free. Super friendly staff that helps you with your tours and transfers averywhere. Price quality is definitely the best.

It’s a 10 min walk from “the center”. Really don’t pay attention to it, it’s super close. The bathrooms are super clean but not really a lot of space for your clothes or towel,..

Pretty much perfect

I spent like 3 or 4 nights here or maybe more. The staff members were extraordinarily nice, particularly the girl who was mostly in the desk, who even gave me tropical fruit to try for free and even wrote me a note one night to notify me something. The hostel was all pretty much perfect in general, it was very quiet in low season (which I enjoyed). Everything worked good, good lockers, good beds with curtains etc. Nice space outside. Good price. I would be hosted here again if I visited this area.

Very good

The receptionist is really friendly and helpful, let me borrow water shoes for a tour. Good big beds, privacy curtains, clean. 5-10 minutes walk to the main bars/restaurants in the small village.

Not the most social but it's low season and was quite nice to chill.

Great value for money, comfy beds and lovely staff

Great stay! Stayed at coco hostel the night before and this was actually the favourite. Cheaper than coco, big beds and curtains, air conditioned and nice bathrooms. Had a big deck which was great for hanging washing and sitting outside. The staff we lovely and helpful. Had free water refills which is probably the most important to me! Location a wee bit out of town compared to other hostels but only a 5 min walk into main area.

Some of the showers didn’t sit up properly as the fittings were broken and same with the clothes/towel racks

Breakfast included, the bed was comfortable with AC in the room. I book a 2 days 1 night in the national parc with the hostel and everything was perfect.

Friendly staff, good value spot

The staff were great for organizing a Khao Sok tour! They even let me borrow water shoes for no charge! They can also hold onto your luggage while you do an overnight tour. It was raining when I got there and they also let me borrow an umbrella to explore the little village.

The rooms could use a sweep or mopping since shoes aren’t allowed inside but people still track some dirt/leaves into the rooms.

Loved my stay here! The room was huge, beds comfy and big and the staff very friendly! Breakfast and all food is good too :) good location, very peaceful! And you will see monkeys on the balcony !!

Big and comfortable beds with curtains. Towel provided. Decent sized lockers on the room. Lamp and plug in the bed, as well as a small personal locker. Breakfast basic but good. Can book tours and transfers. Overnight Khao Sok trip comes with a free night hike the day before :) bathrooms spacious and cleaned every day. Shower gel and shampoo provided.

Amazing and lovely staff

Defo good value for money, the staff were super nice and accommodating and helped us book our night on the lake which even including a night jungle trek from the hostel the night before. Met some lovely people. Didn’t expect much but defo super chill and lovely.

Bathrooms are kinda weird layout as the shower is like over the urinal and the aircon wasn’t that cold but that’s the only complaints I’d have

Amazingly perfect from start to finish!

From the pictures online and the money I paid for my stay I was expecting a run down maybe dated hostel which standards of cleanliness and things was poor but what I got was the complete opposite! The hostel staff was extremely helpful and friendly, the entirety of the hostel was super clean from beds to showers even down to social areas. The beds you get are some of the comfiest hostel beds I've staid in across the whole of Thailand and they are so big you could if wanted easily sleep 2 in a bed. The hostel has everything you need for a place to stay such as lockers for valuables (although not needed as felt like a very trustworthy and safe space), curtains for privacy and even little storage shelves and hooks for things such as books, phones, hats and other accessories you wish to keep close by. All these features combined with a great price is why I have rated this hostel so highly and would recommend to anyone!

Location is a bit further than other hostels from restaurants/shops, and it is a main road which is not well lit which is a bit annoying to come back to after dark (best to carry torch so you are seen by traffic). Not a very social atmosphere No dorm keys/passes

it was alright, good for a nights sleep

the rooms are big which was nice to do the unpack / repack dance. the beds were also very big and comfortable. i had a good night sleep.

the place is a bit out of the village, which isn’t all that bad but if you want to stay a few nights, i’d recommend staying closer in. i had a top bunk and it was a bit difficult getting up and down as it was so high up. i hate when you are showering where you also use the toilet and it was quite small. there’s also a urinal in there as well so it just doesn’t feel sanitary. the floors in the rooms definitely needed a daily sweep and you can tell they skipped that but everything else was clean.

Definitely worth it!

Really great hostel! Comfy beds with curtains, nice staff, good wifi, clean bathrooms, and plenty of toilets/showers/sinks for everyone. Was surprised how nice it was inside actually, definitely way better than another hostel in Khao Sok I’d stayed in a couple days ago!

It’s a 10 minute walk from the main part of town and it’s pretty dark if you’re walking at night, but that can be solved by not going for dinner at 8pm like I did :P
