Djungle paradise. Clean and great to visit khao sok national park

Unique jungle stay with charm, but very basic facilities

• Very unique setting with bungalows in the forest, connected by walkways • Lots of wildlife around — monkeys everywhere • Gives a true “back to basics” jungle experience • Friendly and welcoming staff

• Interior of the standard bungalow is old and very basic — don’t expect luxury • Some practical inconveniences, such as no power outlet or light switch near the bed

Nice treehouse but disappointed overall

- good location - quirky idea- a literal treehouse with modern amenities inside - pleasant and welcoming staff - adorable cat

- they kept a very very big fish in a half full very very small tank for its size in reception - treehouse didn’t feel very secure - hotel organised for us a 1 day lake tour from which we got food poisoning and had a boat with no roof cover meaning we got absolutely drenched in the rain - breakfast pretty simple - definitely not 4 stars

A perfect stay in an AMAZING place.

The concept of Villas and rooms actually on the trees is AMAZING! Really sleeping in the jungle. Many monkeys all around. The Location is PERFECT! Above all - the service is unbelievable. The team welcomed us in a perfect manner. We booked all the trips with them - all were excellent! They really did their best to help us arrange everything we needed. THE BEST PLACE WE COULD ASK FOR IN KAHO SOK.

The tree houses are a lot of fun to stay. It is definitely special and the staff is very nice and helpful.

Because of the fact it is a treehouse, it is not very comfy or clean. The rooms are humid. It is something to consider when booking this place. You really go for the special experience. The sky walk was nice, but did not feel safe.

Amazing bungalows in the jungle!!

wow !! this property is right in the jungle. Super cool concept . Monkeys give you a fun show every day as they play around the bungalows. There is a nice pool and the staff is super nice.

My favourite place in Thailand so far

Stunning location, not just next to the jungle but within it. Lots of wildlife to be seen. Staff are so kind and friendly. We arrived late and they kept the restaurant open for us so we didn't go hungry. Amazing food in restaurant. Including vegan options. My favourite place I stayed in Thailand. Lovely little clean pool.

Mosquitos but to be expected!! The ladders up to the rooms are a little scary and felt a bit unsafe with small children especially when wet.

Bed very hard. Door didn’t fit anywhere, every night we used all the towels to block the huge gaps , to stop critters coming in. We looked at the other treehouses doors, but some were better and some even worse.

The right way to experience Khao Sok

Really cool vibes, you feel that you're in the reserve. Slightly hard core but mostly in a good way. Vipa the owner and the rest of the staff are super nice and helpful. Many monkeys running around. Loved it.

Amazing location for doing different day trips. Monkeys literally outside your hut most days. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful/friendly. Also; Good aircon which I definitely needed!

Huts could probably do with some touch ups, loose sink/tap and couple other things but in general perfect for what we needed and would highly recommend.

Amazing experience

Absolutely amazing experience. Staying in the jungle in a treehouse surrounded by nature. Monkeys all around us & visiting us on our balcony. Watching them jump and play in the trees above us whilst at the pool. Staff were lovely and they arranged a full day tour of the lake for us which was amazing. Breakfast was good. The food in the restaurant was really lovely and the cocktails great too!

I can’t really fault the place - yes some of the facilities such as room lighting & water temperature wasn’t great but you’re in a treehouse in the jungle?! Only thing is the stairs in the family treehouse are not at all safe & definitely not suitable for young children however, there is another staircase outside that can be used to access the top floor

Quirky night's stay in the jungle

We loved our stay but we one night was plenty for us. It was a great experience but for us we prefer a more standard hotel with creature comforts. If we were younger or had a family then we feel it would have been awesome. We felt our room was spacious, the wifi was great and we loved the big bed and thought it was comfy. The Aircon was good and we loved having a balcony and there are many windows all with curtains and lots had stained glass so you had your privacy. We booked a private transfer from Surat Thani Airport direct with the hotel and it was super easy and the driver and car were great. We could pay on card at the hotel. If you love nature and camping you'll love it here.

The bathroom was on quite a big slope, although there were two showers, one was covered in ants at night and the other one was over a bath which when you climbed into sank and you'd loose your balance. We didn't have a mosquito net and as the walls were made of wood and bamboo they made their way into our room and bathroom.

Treehouse in the perfect sense of the word and very helpful administration

Amazing location, can't really beat a treehouse in between the tree's. Amazing internal layout as well: tree's through the room, bathroom in cave-style, a hammock. The personnel at the reception was extremely helpful in booking tours, activities and travel (even very last minute!)

The beds were very hard (but this is common in SEA countries, but for us personally we would really like more soft beds). The pool was rather cold.

What an experience, great family room, comfortable beds, dual ensuite, our own private verandah up in the trees. Furniture made from tree branches and stumps, just wonderful.

A great start for the primeval forest

Quaint rooms, we didn't have any animals in our room. The mosquito net should definitely be used, if only because of the mosquitoes. But you have to be aware of this if you want to go into the jungle. Unfortunately, we didn't see any monkeys or anything like that. The food was delicious and we can recommend it. All in all a nice stay that we enjoyed.
