Incredible hotel from start to finish

The staff is exceptionally kind, caring, and genuinely helpful. They arranged transportation for us twice, helped us book a private boat tour and scooters, and shared amazing recommendations for quiet, beautiful beaches around the island. You really feel taken care of. The rooms are large, very comfortable, and perfect for relaxing. The restaurant is absolutely breathtaking: set directly on the beach with tables in the sand and soft little lights everywhere, creating such a cozy and peaceful atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent, with a generous buffet and a wide variety of cuisines. A truly peaceful place, made unforgettable by the kindness and attention of the staff. Highly recommended.

A delightful, welcoming oasis but peace and tranquility undermined by too many small children!

The staff were unbelievably kind, courteous and helpful, particularly on reception. Nothing was too much trouble. I had so much help from one woman when my ferry booking got messed up. The room was beautiful and even had a day bed! Perfect TV reception with Netflix, YouTube etc. Quiet at night. Scooter rental was excellent. Breakfast was amazing with fantastic coffee. Immaculate, beautiful, jasmine-scented gardens. It's an oasis (if you can escape all the small children).

There were so many families with babies and children under 5 that the communal areas such as the pools were like a professional creche. Impossible to find space for a solo traveller with families overtaking every inch of the place. Screaming, screeching small children everywhere! I've never seen so many small children at a resort. It's my own fault for not considering this would be the majority clientele when I booked it. Luckily, I was able to escape for most of the day on my scooter. Bed was extremely hard, but that seems to be the usual in Thailand.

Heaven that misses a touch

The location is so beautiful, the double ensuite room we booked with the jacuzzi outside had the nicest view in the hotel. The bed was big and very comfy.

Imagine you are on the most beautiful island in Thailand, on the beach, at the beach bar, sipping a cocktail, eating something small and just wabt to chill and enjoy - and in the background there is TRAP music with unpropprionate VOLUME!! In general the restaurant area where everyone sits for breakfast and dinner is missing the right ambience, the music is always too loud but also so not connected to the vibe.. loud Taylor Swift songs, too-loud thai instrumental music for breakfast.. just off. Besides that the room floor is slippery..

Great hotel which serves the best cocktails on the island.

The breakfast is a bit simple compared to other 4 star hotels we stayed in. There is a live cooking station which is making eggs on the spot but what he offers is very limited. The could offer a roti pancake or a different dish at the live cooking station.

Lovely small hotel with private beach, breakfast was good and the food menu had a nice selection of food and drinks. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. They hosted a lovely Christmas Eve buffet and fire show which we enjoyed. It was very relaxing and we felt very looked after.

Priory to arriving the communication through bookings.com was pretty scarce. We ask a couple of questions on separate occasions but didn’t get a response. Whilst the pool area was lovely the sun beds weren’t uncomfortable. The beach restaurant area (sand) was full of leaves, twigs etc so it wasn’t as picturesque as it could have been or comfortable to walk on. All it needs is a rake to solve this issue.

The bed is comfortable, the garden and the pool nice, that’s a plus.

It could be a good hotel if they paid more attention to details. The private beach isn’t cleaned — the same bottle was lying on the ground for days and the sunbeds were dirty. The room is a bit musty. It would be better if the bottled water in the room wasn’t plastic. Breakfast was good, but the breakfast area is full of cats, which is distracting.

Restaurant right on the beach, pool, service and the people were lovely, food was lovely

It was very long so our room was near pool 1, and this was a long walk up and down stairs with a pram to get to the restaurant which was hard- we asked for a room on the ground floor and they said there was none but as we stayed there we saw lots of empty rooms on the ground floor so that was disappointing

Way better than expected, beautiful hotel with amazing service 🫶🏽

The hotel is wonderful. I caught a cold so I couldn't do much outside of the hotel, and it was just fine because the hotel is great and way better than in the pictures! Staff is super friendly and helpful and the facilities are new and cozy. And I got a free room upgrade!

Very small thing: The restaurant service was great, I just had to constantly remind them to being the menu and those things. The restaurant is not official part of the hotel though. Also, since this is a smaller island and I came in low season, there weren't many tours available for solo travelers (only private tours, which are way pricier)

The taxi to and from the pier is very expensive. when we had to change arrival piers due to being scammed and our boat not showing up, the pickup shuttle went from 300 bht to 600 even though it was only 5 mins longer drive.

Very relaxing and cozy!

The pools were amazing, the room also really beautiful, cozy and modern, the staff really friendly and helpful. They also have a parking if you rent a scooter. The food was really good also, they didn’t have breakfast beacause we are in low season and they re not fully booked, but they let us choose from the a la carte menu what we want! We loved that is surrounded by nature with the beautiful sea in the front!

The cleanliness in the bathroom can be better and it was a weird smell on the room and also the bathroom. Nothing that cannot be fixed easily so per total it was great!

Great relaxing resort with friendly staff

The friendly and helpful staff were the highlight of this hotel. A special thanks to Anne and Thiri for their care and welcome and to Chris and Bibo for their hospitality. The garden and pools are as beautiful as advertised, the room was spacious, clean and well designed. We recommend taking the morning island tour through them as it was well organised and the food was great. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Great stay!

Hotel was really lovely and staff so helpful. Bedroom was spacious and comfortable. Onsite restaurant was excellent and proper coffee too. Right on the beach which was always quiet and the 2 pools were never busy either. Very peaceful stay. Would recommend to anyone. They also helped us hire a bike to get around the island and dropped us at the pier when we were leaving. Can’t recommend enough!

The cameras make the rooms look big bit they are tiny.. Breakfast is boring. My wife asked for water 3x from the staff and recieved nothing.. The staff come across in my opinion very lazy. Price we paid for the room for what it was is shocking never go there again so many better places same area for your money.

Amazing beach location - the beach was set up beautifully for guests. Staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was excellent.

There was no hot water for the shower, and the bathroom was not the cleanest. The outside doors didn’t seem to close all the way so there were a lot of bugs that were able to fly in.

Enjoyed our stay but Koh Yao Noi is a better island overall.

As others have said the hotel plot is long and thin, which only allows 1 bungalow to face the sea. The grounds are kept immaculate as was our room, however ask for towel / bedding changes if needed. There are local restaurants the best we found was “Chill Chill” a 15 minute walk – out to the end of the road turn left, down the hill and up the other side, its on the left. As other reviews have said you need a scooter, the hotel rent us a nice one for 5 days @ 250 baht per day.

What the booking pictures don’t show is the concrete pier just to one side of the plot and all the longboats moored in front of the hotel garden/ restaurant. Unless its high tide its over a 100 meter walk to the sea then that again to get your knees wet! We were staying a week a saw nobody use the restaurant in the evening. It has no atmosphere, the prices are high plus they add service charges and tax, best to eat out. The hotel offer a free shuttle service to Lam Haed Beach, don't go unless its low tide at high tide there is no sand bar just a beach of plastic bottles. Its easy to check tides on the internet “Koh Yao Yai tide table”. If you get a standard room on the ground floor be prepared for amplified foot steps the guests in the room above take. Not so bad early evening but at 3am in morning?

Cosy bar at the beach, amazing honeymoon suite

We stayed 4 nights at the honeymoon suite which was amazing. Fortunately 3 nights the neighbour room was empty so it was silent and calm at night. Very cosy bar at the beach. Very nice staff at the bar and café and restaurant.

The one night when the neighbour suite was occupied we couldn’t sleep at all. Ok, these guests were extremly loud all night, but the walls are very thin and you can hear everything from there. The beach of the property is not the best for swimming because the water is very low and in case of low tide there isn’t any water at all. The staff at the reception is could manage everything but was a little bit cocky and not nice at all.
