Full of character, comfortable rooms with all modern amenities tastefully added to an old building. The staff were lovely, all very friendly and helpful and professional. Super continental and cooked breakfast on both days, served in the gorgeous dining rooms on lovely antique crockery.

It was a ‘tad’ expensive.

The staff person who checked us in the first day was very nice and informative. The room was comfortable and clean. The room where breakfast is served is really interesting (in a good way) and open all day. There was covered shelter for our bicycles. There is a lovely garden space in the back of the building.

The staff person who served us breakfast our second morning was not friendly. When we checked out, this person overcharged me. When I returned a few minutes later to explain that she charged us for 6 breakfasts instead of the 4 breakfasts we had, she was not nice. She insisted that she could not refund me immediately back to my card, had no cash to refund me, and would fix the issue later that day. This happened 6 weeks ago. I have contacted the property multiple times using the appropriate booking website requesting the overcharge to be refunded since that date and have not received any monies. The stay was comfortable and I would stay there again but will check the amount carefully BEFORE submitting my card to be charged.
