The duty manager 22:00 on 8 February 2026 he was very ignorant, rude and incompetent...shame on him for the way he spoke to his colleague and to my wife...shud not be in a managerial role

Good value hotel, clean and tidy in a central location

A good hotel in a central location. Nice staff. Despite the hotel being absolutely packed when we stayed the rooms are silent. Really good nights sleep.

The location is perfect for being close to Utilia Arena . With a 7 minute walk along the canal where bars and restaurants are. Hotel is friendly and immaculate.

The breakfast is self service buffet, which is fine , tables cleared and cleaned . The bacon could be better as was overcooked . Other than that great .

Great location

Room felt damp and smelt fusty, the postcode to the car park took us down a bus and taxi area so we will get a fine through the post. For the price we paid very disappointed

A very nice hotel

The location was very good for attending a gig at the Arena only a short walk away and only 20mins walk to train station and bullring shopping centre. We arrived early on the day of check in and were able to check into our room which was greatly appreciated with the staff warm and welcoming across all of the hotel. Breakfast was great in the morning which plenty of choice.

A plain and simple, no frills hotel in the centre of Birmingham that provided just what we needed.

The location to the town centre.

The choices of cooked items at breakfast was a bit limited, no choice of egg only scrambled, no mushrooms, black pudding, fried bread or choice of sausages. The cost of car parking was a bit steep and could have been included in the cost of the room.

Location is perfectly situated and friendly staff.

Tv didn’t work properly and Apps kept showing up error. Breakfast isn’t the greatest here and the same everytime I have been. The little potatoes not good and would be nice if different options of eggs was given instead of scrambled everytime. Noise of either water running or pipes throughout the night.

It's a definite example of you get what you pay for!

Location was great, very central. Rooms clean and spacious.

We arrived 30 mins before check in time and were told (fairly) that there were no rooms ready so we would need to wait until check in time. We decided to get a drink from the bar, where service was very very slow and we kept having to reiterate what we wanted. Whilst having the drinks - people arrived (before official check in time) and checked in. When we went back to reception to check in at the official time and when we had been told to return, we were told our rooms weren't available yet. Breakfast the following morning was awful - all the 'hot' food was cold and the sausages and bacon were barely cooked.

It was ok apart from tasteless breakfast and parking charges.

Having to pay £14 for disabled person to park in the car park, we stayed in a different hotel chain on Friday where they did not charge for disabled parking. Also the breakfast was bland the bacon was hard and chewy and had no taste. The scrambled egg, sausage and potatoes also were tasteless. There was a dirty mark when lifted the toilet seat it hadn’t been cleaned properly. The room window blind was wonky when pulled up. I wouldn’t choose to stay again. The bathroom door would not shut completely there was a gap of about an inch so not very private at all.

Convenient, tired.

Convenience to shops & restaurants. We particularly noticed how quiet the room was despite a busy hotel and being very close to the lifts too.

Generally hotel furniture tired. Also nearly all seating was very, very low. My wife and I are in our 70’s & 80’s and we both struggled to get out of seats. Hotel had 4 lifts but at breakfast times they were very, very congested. We chose a “Queen” room expecting a “Queen” bed - it wasn’t. It was was at best a small double. We changed to a twin which was fine.

Disappointing for a 'Hilton'

Clean room, clean towels and nice hand/body wash. Polite staff at reception and breakfast.

Only 2 sachets of coffee and 2 mugs in a room for 3 people. Only two tea bags.. this was the worst selection of tea and coffee that I had ever had in a hotel. Although this may seem a small thing.. it was a big thing for me. I always bring my own milk but this was a let down. It was easy to bruise your leg on the metal parts of the fold out bed. The reception area was utilitarian and unwelcoming. The staff did their best but the surroundings were grim. Breakfast was disappointing.. tinned peaches and pears .. a few green apples and a couple of bananas left. You could ask for vege sausage but that took 7 minutes to cook and by the time I saw the sign I already had other hot food on my plate. Toast was good and cereal selection was reasonable. Overall, for a Hilton hotel this place was disappointing and it didn't have a welcoming feeling like many of the other city centre hotels that I have stayed in over the past few years.

Flying visit for a concert

Breakfast was okay. The room was up on the 12 th floor and even though we were opposite the lift it was quiet, clean and not too hot. The air conditioning worked a treat.

We could have done with extra pillows as they were a bit flat. There was no decaffeinated coffee in the room and only 1 tea bag. The only dairy alternatives at breakfast was soy milk and spread for toast. Some yogurt would of been nice.
