Dining room was outstanding. Staff attentive to our requests. Te view from the bedroom was lovely.

Whilst the bar was beautiful, it was lovely to have the option to take your drinks away to enjoy in your room. We booked the suite with terrace so enjoyed ours on the garden set outside. Really appreciated the added extras you don't always get in hotels- flannels, vanity kits, shower caps, and even ear plugs! You may get lucky and see the cat who lives in the private premises within the hotel. She is of course not allowed in the rooms, but we would have loved to have got a glimpse of her!
My only niggle was I did have to retune the TV- not an issue for me but might have been an inconvenience for those that couldn't get it working. A help guide might be useful for less technical-minded guests. Note that the hotel is located up-hill from central Bath, so if you're not using the car park you may prefer to get a taxi there. We were only staying for one night so had minimal luggage, but the hot weather made it feel a bit more of a trek!

Lovely hotel, nice decor, clean and really nice staff.
Poor shower, either a new shower head needed, or pressure adjusted. It was very poor. Luke warm water and felt like a drizzle.
