    From 10am to 8pm, you have to pay £70 per person to use the pool. And guess what happens during the free hours? The spa gets absolutely packed because everyone goes at the same time. 😂

    An exceptional hotel with exceptional staff who are so helpful and polite. Its facilities are excellent, rooms like very- very quaintly English- and superb location. Can’t get better in Bath. Thank you

    I requested early check in and arrived over an hour early but was told this wasnt possible. I was directed to wait in the Canvas lounge and told someone would let me know when my room was ready. I waited and waited then soon after 3pm, I decided to go to reception where I ended up having to queue for ages before I was handed a key and escorted to my room. My bag was already in the room indicating that the room had been prepared and was ready for some time. What a pity no one had bothered to inform me....! I notice that the bathroom floor looked rather grubby from uncleaned limescale...Much to my frustration I soon discovered that the shower was lukewarm but when I tried to contact reception on the phone in the room I found the phone did not work! Thankfully, the guy handing out water knocked my door so I was able to ask him to alert the reception staff to the issues I was experiencing. In all fairness, the receptionist appeared promptly and assured me that she would call maintenance to look at the shower and the phone. However, the maintenance man claimed that he had adjusted a valve but there was absolutely no difference in the water temperature. No one bothered to look at the phone. As I also had to draw the housekeepers attention to the dirty stained cushion that had been placed 0n the bed the whole experience seemed rather comical. Overral I say, the customer service was rather poor and my experience at this establishment was rather disappointing. Interestingly, whilst checking out no one bothered to ask if I had enjoyed my stay....
