Best of what was available.

Definitely seemed like the safest venue in the center of town and was reasonably busy with both business and tourism visitors. Not so many obvious breakfast alternatives nearby so glad we paid extra for breakfast.

Saint-Etienne appears to be in economic difficulties with many shops vacant along the street of the hotel. The hotel has surprise steps both in corridors and in rooms that might not suit travelers with mobility limitations.

Nice location, reinventing an old space with a new modern concept of hotel stay.

Large room space, comfortable bed, everything new, clean, and redone.

The “play” space in large lobby area. Poor lighting in hallways. Broken window door left unrepaired is off putting. Throughout St.Etienne we see broken windows on businesses. A result of protest actions by loud irresponsible youth with no repercussions for vandalizing businesses trying to make a living and contribute to the community.

Well located but lacking in most amenities required for this type of apt/hotel.

the location was perfect

the kitchen area was not stocked with any coffee filters or paper towels or any thing beyond the basic electronics and plates. They do not clean the plates or cups between guests unless you pay a 6 Eu a night charge. this means you do not know if and when the cups, plates and cutlery were last cleaned or how well. Additionally there was no freezer and no ice in the entire hotel and the breakfast was very expensive for what was offered.

The hotel location is great but looks old, Cold and no touches show the hospitality. I suggest you add a few carpets in the hall next to the reception, and one big TV with music or football matches.

it was cold in the room. The cleaning staff did not fit with my schedule and room was not clined in three nights. Street side apartments have street noise in the room.

excellent 1 bedroom apartment, modern, plenty of space for 3 adult family, location could not have been better for the central town, shops and bars and restaurants, car park only 3 minute walk away and easy to find, could have stayed longer than 3 nights.

Lovely rooms - each different. Quiet even to the street side, well equipped rooms to cook breakfast or little meals. the staff is very, very friendly and nice!. Tram in front of the door and also the centre is in walking distance.

Good for a short stay.

The location is excellent & the room spotless. The breakfast was quite good & I appreciated the opportunity to leave my case in a locker during the day.

I prefer a double bed to two singles & I was also cold (it's that time of year - but I couldn't seem to get any heating). I was also surprised that you had to pay for the WIFI if you wanted to stream videos.

Great location, modern hotel in a cool old building. Lots to explore in the neighbourhood.

Nice welcome and English speaking receptionist when I called earlier in the day. Very nice stay overall, clean and modern room in a cool old building. Nice bathroom and kitchen facilities in the room which we didn't use but would be good for a longer stay. It's a great location right in the middle of the town with good shopping for clothes, and cafes etc all nearby.

No parking right outside or onsite, but there was a good value car park just around the corner, so not all bad.

Nice kitchenette to give some independence on longer business trip. Comfortable bed. Clean. Close to plenty restaurants.

Had to run (literally) to make it for the 21:00 check in time. View on the court not very nice and dark. Useable parking garage is 10 min. walk.
