Great location, very comfortable rooms

Wonderfully located right near the train station and very close to many restaurants. the rooms are comfortable and basic. The staff is very helpful and attentive. parking garage available if you are arriving with a car.

Perfect one night stay

Breakfast starts at 4am. Room was very clean. Fully equipped with what you might need for a night. Great location for travelling onwards.

Nice Hotel but poor signage and bad U/g car park.

We will never stay there again because we damaged our car when trying to leave the labrynthine underground parking lot. The repair will cost thousands! Also it is extremely difficult to identify the hotel when driving through the town. The hotel sign is small and not easy to see,

We had an enjoyable one night stay

It was clean and functional for a one night stay en route to Provence. The buffet breakfast was excellent. The restaurant next door served good food.

A little difficult to find as there was another Ibis budget hotel nearby which confused us.

Old hotel poorly refurbished to pretend styled. Very small room for the cost. Just the Location and the breakfast area was nice. The Hotel Parking is a nightmare

good place to stay, we were on route to Calais from Nice and it made a good stopover.

This was a last minute booking, we were later than advised and we were met by an extremely helpful receptionist. who helped us with parking and also a good location to eat.

wifi signal very weak, dropping off all the time, strong smell of paint in room and throughout hotel, very low light/dark in bathroom, undergrounds parking smells bad of fish from adjacent restaurant. Paid for 5 nights in through Booking.com. I left the morning after the first night because I could not work without wifi and could not handle the strong paint smell. The manager would not refund ANY part of my payment. I have never been treated so unfairly.

Great location, right by the Chateaucreux train station and tram stop. The beds are so comfy and big! Breakfast was ok, pretty much what you expect from a hotel breakfast. We preferred going to a local boulangerie:)

The hotel was near to a very good restaurant I like to go to when I am in St Etienne; the breakfast choices were OK,

I travelled very light; avoiding take things that may be confiscated at the border such as tooth past - thre was none in the bathroom.
