The best budget hotel on my two week trip around France.

This was probably the best budget hotel I stayed in during the two week long road trip around France. Good location, great facilities, excellent staff, good breakfast, secure underground parking and an attached pub/restaurant offering discounts to hotel residents.

the rooms where indeed cozy and nice

it says it was suitable for handicapt which wasn’t true at all. DIDNT had a wheelchair to use either. eventually we found a solution on our own. this was my first time using booking btw so we asked a simple question about it which the desk clerk could simply answer with a yes or a no…? but no he gave us a whole lecture and acted very annoyed, complained us for the way we brought our handicapt individual upstairs ( again they had no wheelchair or any type of office chairs) idk what they expected us to do. canceling wasn’t an option either cause refund wasn’t possible. anyone with a disabled individual this hotel isn’t suitable for you :)

Shower from hell

The breakfast was stale and not nice. The coffee/hot water machine kept breaking between making drinks. But the worst was how the temperature randomly changed mid shower, absolutely burning my scalp with boiling hot water while I tried to wash my hair. I screamed and jumped out. It kept happening so I had to be very careful taking showers. Painful nightmare.

Short stay for one night is OK

Good for short stay.

Very small room, no clear sign in the IBIS parking , deposit of 60E from from 05 April to 15 May. Payment is request at the arrival, if you must to leave earlier you have to be very insistent with the reception personnel.

pillows not firm enough, thin duvet, rooms are not soundproof i could hear snoring coming from next door. even with the DND sign on the door i was disturbed.

I was shocked to be charged a deposit of 60 euros when I arrived, over and above the cost for the hotel. I accept that this was shown on my booking, but only at the very bottom. Booking.com should make it more obvious that a damage deposit is required for this hotel. I have never been asked for this before and will certainly think twice before booking that hotel again.

No room facilities .. ie kettle, Shower was bad design. disabled shower. No shower glass or curtain. Water goes everywhere., Came out to the bedroom floor 🤯 Beds are uncomfortable. No storage in rooms

The location is just across the train station, very clean hotel, looks new and affordable. Their buffet breakfast is 7 euro per person and it was great. They even let us leave our luggages for the whole day while visiting family in St. Genest.

Simple but worth it

Breakfast was good money for the price I paid. The location was ok, you need to walk 1.5 km to the centre or take transport to get there but overall was a good location—a very clean and pretty hotel (is not expensive).

The staff were a bit cold and the hotel is not right in the city centre. The beds were a bit small (I am 186 cm) and the pillows were so small. Breakfast did not include salads or eggs only desserts such as cookies.

Good stay for local transport into town. It is a budget hotel so it is very basic but clean.

The location was great as you could get a tram or bus just across the road to the centre of town. The receptionist was helpful with local information

The instructions for parking were difficult. There was a barrier in front of the empty parking places and you could not see where the button was for help or raising the barrier, until we asked someone and it was about 15ft away with no instructions. Another lady experienced the same problem, probably better signing would be good.
