Ok but not what I was expecting from a hotel claiming to be four star

Location was great and the staff were friendly.

Although the room was clean and tidy, there was a tear in one of the curtains, which I wasn't expecting and brought the whole experience down. Then, in the bathroom, the body wash and hair conditioner containers were empty. I only found that out in the morning when I started showering. So I wasn't able to do anything about it as we needed to have breakfast and check out. I did report it to the receptionist when I checked out.

Nothing has been pleasant within the experience

The stay at the hotel for 2 nights has been a horrific time , the staff has been attempting to accommodate the amenities however the one individual that has dealt with the issues raised at the desk has been extremely rude and unprofessional , the food ordered has been microwaved rather than fresh which has made me unwell , the receptionist an old lady named Sarah has given false advise at all time I have attempted to reach out to the desk , promised for the bathroom to be dealt with although this was untrue , the refund for the food has not been given as promised neither , I can’t believe the words that has been used in such environment, the old lady has spoken to my partner as if she’s got personal issues, demanded for my wife to be quiet and not wanting to communicate with her , the overall interaction has left me with such discomfort and wanting to return to the hotel , I’d expect a better approach and willingness to help rather than being reject full and stating that she doesn’t want to deal with the issue raised , especially my attendance here has been pretty frequent

The carpet had not being hoovered long black hair on the carpet (forgot to take photos) the hot water went off for over 24 hours and then at 9:30am disturbed us due to there system (not really sure what ) even though check out is at 11am, this caused frustration with no explanation and a pretty poor apology.

not as good as expected was packed out with rude loud ppl drunk on mad friday picked a bad timing & level we was on smelled off someone smoking canabis all level 2 area hall way & area too rooms were smelling off strong canabis use inside hotel room staff was informed but nothing was done about it when it says no smoking in rooms

smelled offf canabis on level 2 towards the corridors strong canabis smell throughout level 2 and ppl on paggers that rang off alchol rude & loud didnt sleep alniter was mad friday.

The staff were nice.

The hotel’s heating was not working and we had to use fan heaters given to us but other family members that were staying at the hotel weren’t given any. Also on the morning of check out, the hot water just stopped working. I’m just so surprised of the condition of this hotel, we booked we’ve stayed in a couple of Leonardo’s before and the standard is always tops, this was just a disappointment if I’m honest.

Central location, really well maintained hotel and the staff are very friendly and welcoming without being intrusive.

It's a Shame they don't offer any special parking rates at the car park next door to the hotel unlike many other hotels do but that's my only gripe.

It really needs a clean! The view from our room (through dirty windows) was an abandoned carpark with litter blowing around. Mattress was strained. Windows vent mouldy. Curtains dirty. Dusty. Liquid running down the walls. Shower dirty. Pumps in shower broken.

Location great, Rooms tired and mouldy and the staff were gormless

The location was great

The staff at reception were appalling. They had no clue about anything we asked. We had small children and they were super unhelpful. They validated Parking tickets for the NCP which they shouldn't have as their machine wasn't working, this then invalidated the full ticket and left us paying more and being stuck in the car-ark for over an hour. Staff need to be trainied and could learn to be helpful and polite.
