Wouldn’t recommend

The staff were nice.

The hotel’s heating was not working and we had to use fan heaters given to us but other family members that were staying at the hotel weren’t given any. Also on the morning of check out, the hot water just stopped working. I’m just so surprised of the condition of this hotel, we booked we’ve stayed in a couple of Leonardo’s before and the standard is always tops, this was just a disappointment if I’m honest.

Central location, really well maintained hotel and the staff are very friendly and welcoming without being intrusive.

It's a Shame they don't offer any special parking rates at the car park next door to the hotel unlike many other hotels do but that's my only gripe.

It needs a deep clean.

It really needs a clean! The view from our room (through dirty windows) was an abandoned carpark with litter blowing around. Mattress was strained. Windows vent mouldy. Curtains dirty. Dusty. Liquid running down the walls. Shower dirty. Pumps in shower broken.

My problem was with car parking the ticket was not working it was not working I couldn't get out the car park

Location great, Rooms tired and mouldy and the staff were gormless

The location was great

The staff at reception were appalling. They had no clue about anything we asked. We had small children and they were super unhelpful. They validated Parking tickets for the NCP which they shouldn't have as their machine wasn't working, this then invalidated the full ticket and left us paying more and being stuck in the car-ark for over an hour. Staff need to be trainied and could learn to be helpful and polite.

Bath had hairs (more than one) in it and the soap dispenser had black bits around the top - mould I assume 🤷‍♀️ Felt more like a 3 star than a 4 star It was hot, so the window was open - I was woken up three times at night due to boy racers (not the hotels fault!)

Comfortable beds nice and clean and great location

It was noisy untill late apparently a nightclub nearby. Only 2 cups for 3 people and only one pillow each so had to ask for more. Breakfast wasn't that great waited ages for vegetarian sausages and no mushrooms.

A 2 star hotel at best - and that’s for the location.

Its location.

Everything else - the whole hotel is old, dirty, and noisy. For 3 nights, the corridor was dirty even though saw many Hoovers laying around. You can hear the rooms being made up after the check-outs, so there is a lot of slamming and what not. The staff are nice, but this hotel is not at all as advertised or pictured.

Not very clean hotel. Dirty reception area. Marks on bathroom floor. Shower curtain over bath had orange staining at the bottom. I would certainly expect a hotel in 2025 to have upgraded from using unhygienic shower curtains. The breakfast was appalling: scrambled eggs made out of powdered egg!!! Poor choice at breakfast, no choice of eggs just powdered scramble, no mushrooms, no hash browns. Really awful breakfast, so much so that we had breakfast outside of the hotel. TV was very small, not wall mounted.

Noise from neighbouring rooms. Told by reception it wasn’t coming from hotel (?!) when it was pounding through our walls. Paid for breakfast but room number not on the list either morning. Very embarrassing. Drinks prices are high. Restaurant food - not all choices available.

An OK hotel for a stay on a budget, but not what I expected for its star rating

Good for staying near Leeds on a budget. Rooms were generally OK and comfortable.

My room had a distinct smell of lingering smoke. There were issues with my room key card on arrival which meant I couldn’t get into my room despite checking in online beforehand. The bathrooms are very dated and feel low budget. The breakfast was very average.

Great location close to the city centre and all the basics covered

Everything I needed for a basic stay, TV worked well, Tea and Coffee in the room. The bed was comfy and a good selection of pillows.

I was in a room that interconnected with another, there was a lot of noise the first night from the other room, The headboard and curtains in my room were both pretty tatty.
