Great location at the top end of Headingley, comfortable beds, really excellent of the staff to allow us to check in early after our enquiry as it really helped our stay.

The rooms were really warm, don’t think the heating needed to be on that high for the temperature outside.

Not the best experience

The bed was very hard. We could feel the slats through the mattress. I had to go back to sleep once I got home. The radiator in the bathroom was on all night. So we had to open the bedroom window as it was to hot in the room. But once the window was open you are on a major flight path which stars very early. When we were leaving we noticed that everyone's windows were open, so I presume everyone had the same issue.

Room was okay but got locked out the hotel

Nice room and clean

Our key wouldn’t unlock the front door so we got stuck outside in the rain for 30 minutes and no answer from reception. Had to ring the hotel 3x whilst stood outside. No apology when they finally answered the door. We were just told that the door had been locked from the inside?

Cheap hotel, not very good quality... but for that price I was not expecting much more

Small hotel, located in a residential area (20 minutes away from the city center by bus). Although is not centric, the access in bus is easy and very direct. Low price... as a cheap hotel for only one night, it works ok.

The facilities are old and in bad shape, it needs an update! The room was very small, the heat was not warm enough for a cold night, and it had some bad smell. I needed a cheap place to stay in Leeds for just one night, so I didn't had too much expectations... but I wouldn't recommend it for a longer stay or if you need to spend time in your room beside just sleeping.

Great choice for an overnight stay for the cricket

Very convenient for Headingley Cricket Ground. Friendly staff (shout out to Yasmin). Basic but clean and comfortable single room. Indian restaurant next door was excellent. Plenty of free parking

The staff were excellent - very helpful. It was convenient to have the restaurant right next door. The bed was very comfortable. It was clean.

There were no ground floor rooms and no lift. The stairs were steep and narrow. Located on a busy main road. There were quite a lot of sirens.

Excellent value, friendly staff, clean and comfortable

Excellent room, very clean and super comfortable had a great nights sleep. The staff are really friendly and welcoming. I was allowed an early check in and even had my room upgraded for free. Would highly recommend a stay here if you are visiting Leeds.

Cheap and not that cheerful

Good location

Had to wait a while to check in and staff member made me feel like I had inconvenienced them by ringing the bell and bringing them away from wherever they came from. As I sign form that warns about fine for smoking I am being breathed on by staff member stinking of smoke. Shower tray filled up inside 1 minute, drain cover broken and was floating around, cheap bathroom products, no plugs near bed. I wasn't in room for long thankfully, it's fine as a cheap base for work but for over £80 you expect more than wilko essentials soap and broken fittings.

Great value, comfortable independent hotel

Excellent value hotel - clean room, private and very comfortable. Went above and beyond to facilitate my late arrival, which was much appreciated. Great night's sleep. Would definitely book again. The world needs more traditional, independent hotels like this, rather than faceless chain brands.

Maybe the TV could have been updated or moved a little, and a little more privacy - the room had no blinds and looked out onto a car park and a road. But these are minor things!

Cheap in a good location but do not expect a comfortable stay

The hotel is in a convenient location on the North side of the City in a nice area.

The room was tiny, in a smelly basement with very poor wayfinding signage in the event of an emergency. All in all disappointing and nothing like the photos on Booking.com

Ok rooms staff lacking in service

Room was nice and clean

Staff member was a bit moody and argumentative with us as we checked in. I was given the key to the wrong room luckily it was the room for one of our group that mentioned it so we were able to sort this out One of our group had no toilet roll in the room and was told sorry I have no more. We ended up buying some from the 24hr garage over the road.
