Nice property on budget prices

When i first booked the property i read the reviews and was very skeptical due to all the negative ones online and it was too late for me to get my money back. However now I’m grateful that i couldn’t. The property was brilliant, the host was always available. We had access to swiming pools and beach at Fairmount hotel. The apartment was spacious and had everything you need for a holiday and half the price of a hotel. 2302 was our apartment and i would be happy to go again. First night it was a bit noisy from the traffic but next day much better as we closed the balcony door properly.

May be need more info how to get to the beach and swimming pools.

read this before booking

I only liked the views and the pool

the apartment was dirty, the bathroom hair from the people before our arrival as well as in the shower, when you took a shower water came out and the entire bathroom floor was wet which you slipped, first boche bloody sheets, they make you pay 200 dollars for some cards to go to the beach!!! When nowhere is that written when booking, it took almost a month to return the money. Total and utter disrespect. Very dirty everything, absolutely everything inside the apartment. We do not recommend it. I have photos of all the dirt and blood-stained sheets, a horror.

Apartment a little tired and not as well equipped as other apts in same development.

We stay at the Fairmont Residence at least once a year. The location, facilities and size of apartments is great.

There were lots of air fresheners and a smell of stale cigarette smoke. The kitchen was poorly equipped, no toaster no coffee maker, the knives and forks where the cheapest you could buy, like flat pressed metal. The bedlinen was a little tired and the floors still had detergent on them so sticky to walk on if your feet were wet from the shower etc.

it was dirty we had to call for a cleaner, they never changed the towels during our stay, they had only 2 set of cards and keys and the booking was for 3 and it was a hustle to get the 3 rd one. overall extremely disappointed. i would not recommend giving this amount of money for this especially if you are on vacation.

It was full of white ants and insects. They need to bring pest control. I was charged 300 Dirhams for a lost beach access card. The card cost only 5 Dirhams !!!

Definitely wouldn't book again,

Location of this apartment is very nice with lovely views of the sea and the Palm.

Do be aware that this is an apartment in a residential complex where nearly all other people are permanent residents. I would not stay here again as the apartment was not in a good condition, the shower cubicles were mouldy with water leaking outside, the facilities were old and dirty and the place definitely needed painting. Very basic cooking utensils which were all scratched and literally non usable. No restaurant facilities available although you can visit the fairmont next door. There is no toaster, no cleaning equipment is provided such as hoover, mop so on, we stayed for 10 days and the cleaner only comes once a week. Upon arrival the inside of the drawers in the rooms were dirty and the bed made you itch whilst sleeping. Hosts were not accommodating of extra duvets or other issues we raised as it seems they are managing the place on behalf of the real owners who don't have a clue of what's going on. Concierge were lovely downstairs however they do not have anything to do with the management of the apartments.

I’ll start with the accommodation itself then move into the appalling customer service. This apartment is falsely advertised through the photos. It clearly is not being maintained and rather being allowed to fall into disrepair: ⁃Cabinet doors are falling off and not attached in the kitchen. ⁃The entire closet to hang your clothes is warped and caving in on itself. ⁃The toilet seat in the guest bathroom was so loose it virtually came off. ⁃The air conditioning unit in the bedroom was too noisy to easily sleep with it on. ⁃The mattress on the bed was curving in and extremely uncomfortable. I was assured it was a medical mattress to prevent any “blood stains” (ew?) and that it was not caving in on itself. If I am rolling into the center of the bed because there’s a slant, I believe that means it’s curving.. ⁃The pillowcases had stains on them. All in all, the second I walked into the apartment I was very disappointed based on what I was expecting from the photos. To resolve this, I messaged the woman whose number is on our booking, Daria. I told her that the state of the bed was not acceptable and that there were stains on the pillowcases which needed to be changed. There was an extremely unpleasant back-and-forth where in the end she said “it is up to you to sleep on it or not”, that i am “paying much less than guests are paying now”, and that “even if I wish to sort your problem, I can’t do it [at] night time.” When I spoke to her manager the following day it was practically the same encounter where he also assured me that I was paying so little for it and implied therefore that I did not deserve to have proper service. The one area he was interested in was the broken cabinet but that was clear that he didn’t actually care because when I told him about the warped closet he brushed it off. To me it is not about whether I am paying $1 million or $1, I am paying for decent accommodation.

Exceptional

Very good stay!! The location is amazing and couldn't be better. Parking space is free and covered. The apartment was really big, we were on the 1st floor which was the same level as the pool very easy with children, massive terrace looking at the pool. The bedroom was so big with a double bed, a big bunker bed and a baby cot, perfect for us, family of 4. Facilities from the residence plus Fairmont are great ad you get access to more than 4 different pools, towels and beach access. The promenade on the Palm accessible by the Fairmont Hotel is very nice with lots of restaurants. The staff was super reactive when I asked about parking for instance, they changed our towels and bedding and cleaned the apartment during the middle of our stay. I strongly recommend staying there.

The property was spacious with terrace, which was often used for an evening gatherings and sharing the experiences.

Guess the only drawback was the cold water in the shower, though I think we didn’t manage to find - how to turn on the water heater (in the other place - you had to turn it on separately)

Dubai is incredible but too busy, crowded and noisy to relax.

It was on the Palms and had a private pool separate to the Fairmont.

However our room was above a busy road. It was located in the South block where everyday you had to get a wristbands to use the facilities at The Fairmont and the beach. This was a chore. The staff were not engaging or happy. The room had limited crockery for cooking with and bins were not allocated so rubbish piled high with the weekly maid. No change of towels so we ended up washing ours. Bedding did not fit the bed and no bedding or extra pillows for the sofa bed. Parking was easy but everyday the person next to us parking like an idiot across our bay. Lucky for us the spaces were big and not narrow but not an easy task when you risk hitting a Porsche one side and a Lamborghini the other. Hot water was limited.

The smell of mold in both bathrooms. Water leaks all over the bathroom floors when showering. Not sealed correctly. Seals moldy. Tiling in the showers moldy. The bedrooms look clean on most surfaces. Under the beds... no cleaning has been done. Major accumulation of dust. Kitchen is not very well equipped. VERY BASIC would be the word No ice trays in the freezer. Not enough towels. Seeing as towels need to be used to wipe the water off the leaking showers... to avoid slipping on marble tile. The couch/sofa, is like sitting on a plank of wood. Very uncomfortable. The beds were uncomfortable. We had to use spare duvet and blankets to place down before laying down on the beds. Poolside service was terrible. Service and tables are not 5 star at all. Dinks slip off the table, which the customer has to repurchase. Tables are old and bent... and should not have anything placed on them if you want to avoid having them slip off spill everywhere. Servers/cleaners needed to be chased after to put orders in. It wasn’t even busy.

Great Location on all levels with a perfect appartement

The appartement on the 9th floor was spacious. 1 spacious bedroom with confortable king size bed, private bathroom with tub and shower, fully equipped kitchen to cook to your Hearts and tastebuds delights 😀, washing machine, spacious living room with sofas, large T.V. with multiple cable Chanel’s from DU co. Finally a large balcony to have your breakfast on or dinner in the evening. I got access to the swimming pool of the residence and the extra perk access to the Hotel Fairmont swimming Pool, access to the beach and GYM facility of the Hotel. No extra costs involve. I got all key passes on arrival for all facilities and garage access. The management where very accommodating and present on arrival and departure and without any delay. Professional attention and high five star star services through and through. Highly recommended and the Final plus the location is on the Palm Jumeirah a 7 wonder of the world of engineering as architecture. Also take note that their is the Golden Mile résidences and store facilities just across the street with hairdresser, beauty services, Landry shopping store and grocery. Also just next door to the residence their is an additional super market and along the beach and the residence their are 5 different restaurants to cater your various tastebuds from cuisine around the world with a view of the waterfronts.

Slightly noisy from the terrasse balcony due to the traffic on the main entry and exit road , but luckily when inside the appartement the noise is not present.
