Nice small escape in Bonn

Clean, good position

I suggest adding some kettles, specially during winter time it's appreciated to have a warm tea in the room since there's no warm drink service

Generally fine but a few issues

The bed was extremely comfortable and the room had nice furnishings including stool, table, and smart TV.

The shower curtain was inefficient and too small, this was a problem as the shower has no screen. The hotel was also understaffed and check-in could only be done digitally which was confusing. I did not get clean towels provided during my 4-day stay either, which if I was staying longer I would have requested (no sign anyone had been in the room during my stay). The main keypad also didn't work and this was causing access confusion. Generally the hotel interior is somewhat outdated compared to the presentation in the photographs which makes it seem more modern and brighter.

Short but nice stay

I have slept 3 nights at Tante Alma Hotel in Bonn. The room was spacious and comfy, with an extra sofa chair. The bathroom was clean. The breakfast was delicious and enough. The windows of my room went to the inside yard. The distant to city center is easily accessible with public bus. Nice neighbourhood with restaurants and shops. The hotelstaff very friendly. I would book again.

I think the breakfast for 15€ was somehow a bit too expensive. In my point of view it didn’t had the value for 15€.

Friendly staff Nice location, close to the bus stop and restaurant / botanical garden 🏡 🪏 Decent breakfast and even complimentary cake 🍰 tea party on the day of arrival. Cozy and having good vibes in general

The bed separated in 2 parts was constantly moving, so definitely not for a couple activities. No mini-fridge

Excellent

The location was excellent. The area around Poppelsdorfplatz was charming and the population very friendly. It was like being in a village rather than in the suburban area of a major city. The buses were frequent and the main train and main bus stations only six stops away.

While there is a lift inside the building there were still six or seven steps to climb to get to the front door which presents a problem for those with mobility issues.

I can‘t say much as we stayed just a couple of hours/1night (sleeping time) in the facility and we got there 3 hour

It is a nice place to stay for an economical budget and a parking space outside the facility along the road which is free. Lucky that there‘s still one parking space left for us when we arrived on a rainy evening. 😄

A resort/park hideout in Bonn.

A resort-like feel near the green zone and university. It's a nice location if you want to walk around Bonn. Though it could be a bit far from the city center, around 20 mins. The surroundings are really nice, a lot of forestete parks and a cemry. A quaint town center nearby with groceries and cafes.

There is a highway nearby, that you can hear in the mornings. Though the hotel is fully refurbished, sometimes you get this 80s feeling from the doors and elevators.

Beautiful hotel, friendly atmosphere, very comfortable bed, nice breakfast, beautiful and large living room, nice garden, good location and friendly staff.

Noise from the street nearby, very limited fruit at breakfast, when checking in they first told me I did not have a room booked, and when looking again it was ok, so would be nicer to check properly in the first place. Wifi only worked half of the time.

The room was relatively spacious, and the common area on the top floor was pretty cool. Finally, the location was pretty convenient and closely located to several restaurants. I especially liked the Tibetan restaurant located down the street.

There were several discomforts that I disliked, but these seem to be fairly commonplace in Europe. First, there was no air conditioning. This might have been OK historically, but while I was there a heatwave struck and made the nights occasionally unpleasant. Second, while I was given a 'double bed', what I actually got was two single beds pushed together. This is non-ideal as if you roll over the crack between the two beds they immediately begin to separate, leaving a chasm you can fall down. Finally, I found the wi-fi to be quite poor. I had difficulty maintaining connectivity on a videocall for more than 1 minute straight.

Very clean and very comfortable, staff was very kind and the decoration is amazing!

Check-in was not very clear, the reception was closed earlier than indicated and I had to call them to be able to check-in.

Amazing lady at reception showed and explained everything, was very kind! Hotel and room design - amazing, very cosy and clean. There is a lovely terrace at first floor. There was not a big choice at breakfast, but the food was tasty. Great place to stay with a company of friends, to walk at Bonn and chill at evenings in this lovely hotel
