Disappointing

Great sunset views. Large comfortable room.

I think our room was the most overlooked room in the whole of Oia - there was nowhere to hide from onlookers whatsoever when using the terrace. I’m not sure why there couldn’t be a screen or something to give some privacy. Worse our room was next to the breakfast area with no divide in between other than a short wall. When we were having breakfast there were people having breakfast right next to us. Also virtually no shade which made it very difficult to use the terrace also. The staff were nice but very intense - needed to know our exact plans each day and would just come to our terrace to speak to us about our plans without warning even though they also made sure they could contact us via WhatsApp. It just wasn’t the beautiful relaxing stay we were hoping for. I knew it would be somewhat overlooked just by the fact we were in Oia but it was ridiculous really. Also having no kitchen meant they only served bottles of wine - no ability to have even a cocktail in the room or a snack. Overall it was a great place to see sunset but would definitely not stay here again and wish we had stayed elsewhere.

Breathtaking location, perfect for a romantic splurge.

The location was perfect for the sunset directly over the water. The spa was superb looking over the caldera. The room was large and we didn't want to leave it at all.

Staff were not as attentive as we would like and were a bit rude. The difference between the sister location and this one wasn't clear enough.

Excellent location. Great amenities (including the cave pool and the private hot tub). Great customer service especially from Evie regarding booking dinners.

Some of the dinners were quite expensive, which I could probably have researched, but perhaps a bit more questioning on price point would be helpful. The only issue we ran into was we booked a photoshoot but were not told what photographer or where to be until I asked about 5 minutes after the suggested time (I was under the impression the photographer would be meeting us at the property given we had not heard otherwise).

Nice but too expensive for what you get

Breakfast was nice and the location is great especially for sunset

There is no room service, so if you want to eat something in the confort of your room it’s not possible. They can organise delivery but it took them 2hours to bring it and it was only sandwiches. You also share the terrace with another room so you cannot be really comfortable.

The property was great. The donkeys walk up and down the the hill in front of you. The rooms had great air conditioning. The staff were fantastic.

Amazing stay

We stayed at the hotel 4 nights September 9-13. This hotel is like no other. It’s an expérience you remember for the rest of your life. We got our room upgraded on arrival. It had 2 private pools! Indoor and outdoor jacuzzi! Everything facing the best spot on the whole island to watch sunset! It’s the most romantic experience for a couple! The hostess and all the stuff are just wonderful! They took care of everything to perfection! And the most warm and welcoming people you can ever meet! We will definitely return! Santorini is so beautiful and special place and there’s no better way to experience it than this amazing hotel!
