A best kept jewel in the best area of Santorini.

The service in this hotel is not only super professional, but very sweet and caring, people who will go out of their way to assist and just do a fantastic job. The food was actually OUTSTANDING also, do not underestimate their restaurant, for sure. And lastly, thank you thank you Penelope (best receptionist ever) for really going the extra mile with everything you did and for being an amazing person, it was very lovely to meet you!

My wife and myself had an incredible honeymoon stay here! Arriving in mid October was a dream. The location of the hotel was perfect for a sunset while also not being on top of the most crowded areas. The room was located just a few minutes from the main strip so walking around was easy while also avoiding many stairs. The staff here was nothing short of perfect, always helping with advice, booking help, and general questions. Couldn’t have been nicer !

Careful for my 6’-0” and taller guys, bathroom entrance is lower so have to be weary! But this is common for the area as a whole from my experience!

Unique in a wonderful way!

The whole experience was very unique and enjoyable. This was a family trip that included 7 of us and it was our first time in Santorini. We were blown away by the unique views, beautiful sunsets and delicious food.

Absolutely nothing for us. We just loved everything! However, others need to be aware that the city is basically built on a cliff, which means that there are a lot of steps to go anywhere. Not very handicap accessible!

Good location and facilities, friendly staffs

We Lived in the Kyklos Villa and the location is very convenient. Taxi drop-off/parking is a really short walk away and there are porters to help with luggage. It is right inside Oia and you can easily walk all over the town. There are also convenience stores and gift shops around the corner. Facility here is very decent and we were able to enjoy villa’s public pool and sauna, as well as its sunbathing area. Breakfast can be served both in its restaurant (which by the way has amazing views) or in one’s own room, and has reasonable amount of variety. The room itself is clean and matches with what’s described. Finally, staff here is very helpful and assisted us with many different requests such as booking transfers and guiding us around the villa. It is overall a very good place to spend your vacation in Santorini.

Its a beautiful hotel, perfect location and best views of Oia Santorini

This location is perfect to experience the Famous Santorini Sunset. It's located directly in front, and you can enjoy watching from the balcony of your room and avoid all the large crowds gathering above. We found ourselves grabbing food and eating on our balcony and having our private sunset dinner.

Amazing stay in Oia!

Perfect location within walking distance of everything in Oia. The perfect sunsets every evening! The rooms were private and spacious with the best view of the caldera. Staff was wonderful and according, breakfast was included every morning and was delicious!

The property is beautiful, clean, and has private parking. It offers a direct sunset view, private pool and is within walking distance of the blue domes, restaurants, bars, and more. Penelope and Thomas are so amazing, I will definitely coming back.

Spectacular location, very very family friendly and engaged staff.

Amazing hotel. The room is clean. The view from our room is gorgeous. The pool is beautiful. We had dinner here with delicious food and great view of the sunset. Staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel if you come to Santorini. We have the best experience of Greece at this hotel in Santorini.

There’s not a better place to stay in Santorini.

Everything! A gorgeous & spacious suite of rooms (honeymoon sunset suite) with stunning views of the famous Oia sunset and the caldera (from two decks!). Everything was tasteless & elegant! a special mention and thank you to the front desk staff—they were gracious and helpful. And the porter was terrific too.

Trust me, splurge on the cave pool room!

Everything was amazing. We booked the “Honeymoon Suite” because I had always wanted a cave pool and we were celebrating our 20th anniversary. It was the most amazing room and the staff made everything so special. We arrived to a chilled bottle of champagne, a gorgeous bouquet of fresh flowers, a full complementary mini bar, a coffee bar, a gorgeous balcony overlooking the caldera and so much more. They also booked us the best table in their restaurant to watch the sunset. They went above and beyond in every way imaginable. The price of the room was an incredibly fair price for the luxury you get and the best service on the island. I can’t say enough about the place. Be sure to arrange transport upon your arrival. The hotel took care of it for us upon request and it saved so much frustration and stress when we arrived.

Nothing not to like about the hotel, but everyone has to be aware that Santorini is nothing but steps. All hotels, restaurants, shops, and sights are based around steps. This is not a complaint about the hotel at all. Just be prepared for steps.

The view, the location, parking, breakfast was good

We reserved two rooms with two outdoor hot tubes and both didn't wark. 5 days we were staying in the hotel and the stuff didn't really tried to fix it. It was in April and the water in our "hot" tubes was cold. In addition the internal bath was dirty with black dust coming out of jacuzzi jetts. The second shower had no water at all. It was suppose to be the most expensive hotel suite, but we were really disappointed it.

Stunning spot in Oia!

We went with our 9 month old and chose to go later in the year when it was quieter. We had an incredible holiday! Staff were brilliant. Very helpful and looked after us well throughout our stay. Location was perfect in relation to the town, the bay and everything is within a short walking distance. Sunsets were stunning and we enjoyed a couple from the heated pool on our balcony.

Absolutely can not fault Fanari Villas, our stay was amazing. If you are not familiar with Santorini in general however, there are a lot of steps. We went with a 9 month old and hired a car. The hotel staff helped us with our bags which made life a lot easier. During the stay however we barely used the buggy which we brought with us, it is baby carrier all the way as the best way to get about!

Unbeatable view

The location is exquisite - we could see the beautiful sea from our bed. Our balcony viewed both the sunset and the caldera. It was beautifully quiet and calm, even with the bus loads of tourists watching the sunset from the castle and streets behind us. If I return to Santorini, wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Lovely staff and accommodating for a vegan at breakfast.
