Great room (11) with loch/sea view, comfortable, spotless clean, comfy bed, nice bay window to look out to sea, shower room with a view of the hills,
Amazing whisky bar, lounge was comfortable with fire, dining/breakfast room nice with view onto the garden and hills beyond,
Food excellent, breakfast cooked to order, evening meals very tasty, specials changed every evening, puddings very good too, good coffee and cake in the afternoon,
Staff were all so friendly, professional, never been to a place where the staff were so nice, Flora the owner has got this hotel just perfect.
Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Ardshiel hotel is a great location to stay in Campbeltown, especially if you are there for whisky tourism as the hotel has a very impressive whisky bar.

Booked the hotel quite a few months ago for a group of 4 bikers. Upon arrival for checkin, we were asked if we would like to upgrade for a fee of £25 to stay in the hotel rooms, i declined and our rooms for the night was what looked like a temporary building a few houses down situated at the rear of another dwelling, not the news we where expecting on arrival and left me particularly annoyed...
