SJ Seaside Chalet

Was perfect for my little family of 4, beds were so comfy and rooms a great size for a 2bed chalet! Great location 2min walk across to the beach! Didn't really need to bring any cleaning/washing items chalet was equipped with hand-wash, washing up liquid sponges cloths bin bags ect we loved it!

Only thing we didn't like was having to leave to come home! 😂

the location of the property was lovely, in the chalet there was little games for the children and buckets to use on the beach which was a really nice touch. It was nice and warm, we didn’t have to use the heaters in the bedroom because the fire warmed the whole place up in no time.

When we first arrived at the property it smelt strongly of smoke (cigarettes) I messaged the host to inform her, she said the previous people where bad tenants and the cleaners had already reported this, now I use the word cleaners very loosely, on arrival there was bread crumbs on the fridge, grease up the side of the fridge, sand and broken shells in the kitchen sink, bathroom not been cleaned black hairs everywhere. I also mentioned this when I messaged the host, she said we could cancel and have a refund but we had travelled 3 hours to get there and with a excited child it’s not what we wanted to do so I went to the shop and brought some cleaning things to give it a good clean. The host never acknowledged the fact it was unclean, if that was me I’d of offered to send the “cleaner” back. The chalet could be lovely if time was spent on it.
