Good stay, but needs a few improvements.

Location is in a quaint area with pubs & facilities close to the cottage.

TV is old gen, with a loose HDMI Port / Very low furniture in back garden & the settee is too deep & tiered to be comfortable, without lots of cushions behind you.

Despite the cleanliness issues our stay was fabulous. Quality time spent with family.

The cleanliness wasn’t to our standard, could be better. I don’t normally book properties where dogs are allowed, this was an exception. The cottage is lovely spoilt by the cleanliness. On the surface it looks clean however when we walked in it didn’t smell fresh. There was dust under the sofa’s, remnants of a dog treat on the bedroom floor. Dead flies on the windowsill in the twin room. The blinds in the bedrooms are stained Lots of dust on the mirror in the back double room. The blinds in the bathroom needed a clean A deeper clean would have made our stay perfect

The cottage was so special we were sad to leave it

The property was immaculately renovated and had everything you needed to have a wonderful break . The welcome pack was very thoughtful and the linen and towels were of a high standard . The host had thought of everything. The location was a great base .

Great location lovely cottage very spacious and great weather

Great location easy reach for Filey and Bridlington little park round the corner for children and nice pub within walking

Perfect place for a visit to the East Coast.

Clean and spacious, the cottage was beautifully presented. There was a modern kitchen with everything you needed and two big comfy sofas for everyone to get cosy downstairs and 3 good sized bedrooms upstairs. It was in a perfect spot, 2 minutes walk to the village green and playground, walking distance to the lighthouse, a few minutes drive to other attractions like Danes Dyke, 15 mins to Brid and around 30 mins to Scarborough.

The one little thing I didn’t like was the sign stating ‘not to park here if you don’t live here’ on the drive. Not the nicest welcome. We did park there regardless as it said you could in the visitor guide and I’ve got to say we didn’t have any issues, it was just the initial feeling.

Lovely stay at flambrough cottage

Location was good,everything very local to cottage.Lovely cottage, spacious, comfy beds.little seating area at back of cottage.Sky installed with apps.Plenty of crockery and towels

On arrival at cottage, cottage had been cleaned but the cleaning people hadn’t done a good job.Dust on staircase/bedside tables and thick dust at end of bath.Dirty uncleared log burner, hairs on toilet rim.

Perfect getaway

Cottage was gorgeous - spacious modern home with everything you need. Ideal location, just a short drive to all the major sites in the area. It was so quiet and peaceful, but with a park, shop and pub so close.
