The property is close to the historical center, easy to walk to the lake. The flat was warm and has small kitchen which was nice. It was nice that the owner left some coffee capsules ready for you to use. It was super clean in the bathroom and the bed sheets neat.

It was obvious that the furniture was used and not replaced for a long time. It was dirty (stains on the sofa, arm chair) which doesn’t really make you to wanna sit there. Some of the neighbours was smoking all the time and the smoke goes directly to the flat through the kitchen. Nothing you can do, just have the window open all the time.

My recent stay at this apartment was far from satisfactory, and I feel compelled to share my experience to caution others. Unfortunately, the numerous issues we encountered made it difficult to enjoy our trip. To begin with, upon arrival, we found the apartment to be unclean, with dark hair scattered all around the bathroom. Strangely, neither my husband nor I have dark hair, making it clear that the place hadn't been adequately cleaned before our arrival.Adding to the woes, shortly after checking in, we faced an electricity outage. Despite our attempts to contact the owner directly, we had no luck, and we were left with no option but to reach out to the booking center for assistance. Eventually, the owner did get back to us, but instead of sending immediate help, we were forced to try and fix the fuse ourselves. This was both dangerous and inconvenient. After struggling for an hour without success, the owner finally sent someone to assist. The delay and hassle could have easily been avoided with timely and professional support.The lack of cleanliness and maintenance issues didn't end there. The double bed in the apartment was uncomfortable due to a broken bottom, making sleep difficult and uncomfortable. Additionally, the linens for the sofa bed were haphazardly stored underneath the sofa, causing us to waste a significant amount of time searching for them. Furthermore, the absence of clear instructions added to our frustration. The WiFi code provided was incorrect, leading to further time spent troubleshooting the issue. The situation was compounded by contradictory instructions regarding waste disposal, leaving us confused and unsure of the proper procedures. In an attempt to resolve matters, I reached out to the booking center and forwarded pictures of the unclean bathroom, requesting a partial refund due to the inconvenience caused. However, to my dismay, the owner stopped responding altogether, showing a lack of concern for guest satisfaction.

All in all, this was a disheartening experience, and I strongly advise against staying at this apartment. The numerous problems we encountered, from cleanliness issues to poor communication and maintenance, made our trip far from enjoyable. We will not consider returning in the future and hope that this review serves as a warning for others seeking accommodations in the area.

Not at all clean Very noicy due of the street

Good location only 10-15mins walk from the centre of Lucerne. They give you a link to a great website which has all the details on location, what to see, check in & check out, making it really easy.

Facilities were basic and missed some items you’d expect to have. There was a coffee machine, but no kettle. There was some cutlery, but no tea spoons, so you had to stir your coffee (as tea wasn’t an option) with a desert spoon. There was a sofa bed, but no bedding. The shutters didn’t work in the living room so it was bright early in the morning. Checkout was 11am, but people came to the room at 10:45am whilst we were still getting our final things together.

Location is not bad; living room and bedroom provide enough space for 3 people with 3 big luggage. The owner responded my message quickly during the working hour.

The bed was broken, so we need to sleep on the floor with the mattress. We tried to contact the owner who was out of working time (8am-8pm) and hadn't answer our complain directly afterwards. The electricity was cut at 7am when we were preparing the breakfast and we cannot contact the owner because of the same reason. At 9am, the owner replied via booking.com's message and then we waited 1 hour for the handyman and then the owner said we can leave the room if we had other plan. Well, there was no time for our other plans already. One more thing: no microwave.

The decoration and bathroom is very basic which better have an update. The bed is not comfortable. The Clock is not working, the TV without signal. The notice about wifi on the notice board is not update but have an information card next to the router which you may easy overlook.

There were 3 of us and we were only given 1 quilt, so we ended up sleeping in a bed and my friend stayed up all night

Superb host, no hassles, very convenient location. I would always prefer to stay here everytime I am in Lucerne.

Check in process was very problematic. No key, no host, no phone numbers working, standing outside in the rain for an hour. Eventually we were shifted into another apartment with no compensation for the change. The flat was very basic, with holes in the furniture and depressing decor. Really recommend other travelers to book a hotel or try a host vetted on AirBnb.

The location is very good, minutes again from the main attractions in Lucerne. It is very well appointed with basic yet comfortable amenities. Perfect for a small family and a short stay. the self-check I’m was seamless and the communication with the host was very easy. He was very attentive and made sure everything was clear and ready for our arrival and throughout our stay.

Everything was very good, the place was clean and the apartment quite comfy. Maybe the only thing would be that the kitchen lacked some basic stuff such as salt, oil, sugar and enough cutlery. it was ok for us since we only had a simple breakfast during our short sat there but would have been nice to have those things at hand.

simple, clean and everything was as described on booking.com. The host was very helpful and friendly and never intrusive. we would love to stay here again the next time we come to Luzern

Best value for the money.. Really smooth check in process steps . Lovely and cozy apartment.. Location is in central.. great and quick responding host.

The apartment is located next to the city center. Beds are comfortable and there is enough space for 4 people. Price is very competitive.

Parking is indicated as a facility but there isn't a free parking slot. We had to pay 22 CH for almost one day in one of the city parking.

Location was good, it's not too far from main station and Bus stop is very close to property.

There was only 1 room, very uncomfortable for 4 adults. No Washing machine and no microwave so not suitable for who brings out side foot and heat.

Great for exploring the city. Small but enough for a family of 4. No parking in the street is possible but paid indoor garages nearby.
