Simple room with shared bathrooms just off the lake. ATMs outside the property.

Room is a bit dated, but still fully-functional. Host was lovely, but not a word of English.

Good location in Mavrovo. Host was very nice (but no English so very difficult to communicate effectively). Room was basic, but clean and fine for a night or two.

Having your own transport would be very beneficial if staying here. As we are tourists, we don't speak the local language and the host has no English which made communication very hard, compounded by the fact Mavrovo isn't serviced by any public transport and has no taxis (off season - Oct 2022). We hitch-hiked to and from Mavrovi Anovi on the days of our arrival and departure to catch buses from/to Skopje/Debar. The hotel down the road helped us with organisation of these.

We really liked the big garden where we could have breakfast and dinner. A shared kitchen is also available. The room was clean and comfortable. The host is very nice. She doesn't speak English, but we were able to communicate with the help of another guest.

A shared bathroom for four rooms is a bit limited.

It provided a bed for two nights, there was little else to like.

WIFI was intermittent. Carpet was poor quality and broken in places. Curtains did not cover the whole window. The shower head did not have a stand to slot into. The shared bathroom was not cleaned daily, or bin emptied. The downstairs foyer stank of cigarettes. Too expensive for what it was.
