Very friendly and cosy hostel

Good location , well equipped kitchen and very friendly staff. I got a coffee and had a nice chat with one of the women who works at the hostel when I checked in. No taxi was available when I was leaving Skopje due to it being Orthodox Christmas so was driven by the staff(sorry I forgot your name) even though it was 6 in the morning . I travel quite a lot and this has been the friendliest hostel I've been to in a long time. Will re-visit next time I'm going to Skopje!

Cozy property, Friendly owners, Good location

I had a wonderful stay. The owners are incredibly friendly: despite my staying only one night, they went out of their way to help me arrange a taxi from the station and another to the airport. The property was very clean and cozy, and the location is fantastic. I highly recommend it!

I truly enjoyed my stay and will for sure stay here again if I’m back in Skopje

The staff is amazing - I had so many questions and they all were so patient with me and super helpful. It’s a really social hostel with people sitting around the table in the courtyard every evening, you can just join and chat if you’re looking for company. The facilities are also great - capsule beds with light and power plugs, full kitchen- probably the nicest in Skopje

It’s about 15-20 mins walk from the center, which is okay by foot, but if you’re coming from the central bus station or airport shuttle bus with luggage, you might want to take a bus

The owner is super friendly, gives good advices and whole the atmosphere is chill and welcoming. The bed with curtains is a great way to maintain intimacy and confort in the dorm Great place to stay in as a traveller !!

A for Effort but Room for Improvement

- Staff super friendly and helpful - Big lockers (BYO lock) - Decent wifi - Each pod had its own light and power socket

- Only two showers in the hostel and the one on my level had no shower head, it was just a hose. The shower on the other floor had a head but the cubicle was tiny, Im not big but I was bumping the walls. It would be difficult for a plus sized person to shower here. - The dorms had no AC which made the pods incredibly hot. Only area that had AC was the lounge. - Storage area under the beds super dirty and there was junk under them. - Kitchen has sufficient equipment but no salt or oil! - Blind on my pod was broken so there was no privacy. - Bathrooms could be cleaner.

The staff was great and the room was fine. Good location and parking spot.

It was late December and only a few hours of heating during the night. There was no heating until 8 pm. During the day entire house was completely cold so you could either stay in bed or go somewhere to warm up.

Too enough to be good

Nordic is a nice accommodation with a garden, hidden in a small street. The owner and his mother made me feel very welcome. Rooms and beds are quite adequate, clean and comfortable. I love having sockets at the bedside. Bathroom and toilet were also clean. They helped me a lot during my stay. The location is a bit far from the center, but this is already a certain thing and being close to the park, it is a good opportunity for those who love hiking.

The accomodation was not expensive and I understand it is a hostel, but honestly we stayed in many hostels so far and I know they can look much nicer and be better equiped for the quests to feel really comfortable. It was ok for a short stay, but dont expect much of it.

The private room was not really as nice as in the picture. It was right next to the bathroom so it was very noisy. There was a small cabinet in our room, but was full of some clothes. Also the kitchen was very poorly equiped, there was no cutlery, no fridge.. The bed was not very comfortable and it was cold in the room, even if outside was nice weather. There was heater available in the room, but we could not try as the plug was hanging out of the wall, it did not look safe to use.

Clean, friendly and social hostel that’s good value for the money (just no AC as advertised).

The hostel has a large kitchen and lounge area so it is more “social” than some I’ve stayed at recently. The staff members were excellent - fair to deal with when I had an issue, happy to provide local recommendations, booking a taxi (for other guests), etc.

The info on Booking.con indicates that the hostel has air conditioning. This is incorrect. I booked and paid for 2 nights but left after 1 as it was unbearably hot inside the “pod” with privacy screen down. To the hostel’s credit, I was offered a refund but did not take it since the woman was so nice!
