Excellent well-equipped apartment in Korčula

We would highly recommend this wonderful spacious apartment. We were met by a lovely friendly host. We found it to be very clean and well equipped. There are lovely views to the port over the rooftops. The apartment is close to several restaurants and bars, but well sound proofed so outside noise was no problem. The air con was a delight to help cool off after a day of exploring the town. The bed was very comfortable. It is in a great location for exploring the old town or further afield. A must visit is the Cukarin shop nearby for some local biscuits and cakes.

Perfect Korcula location, very clean apartment with King size bed

The location of Kolenda apartment is perfect! It is a very short and flat walk from the ferry. It is also a 2-min walk into old Korcula. Additionally, if you want to catch the ferry taxi, it is only one block away. This is a beautifully remodeled apartment that has been in the host's family for years. We enjoyed the historical photos of their boat building business. Minja is a wonderful host and ensures the apartment is exceptionally clean. It is two levels with bedroom/bath/laundry on lower level. The kitchen, dining and living area are upstairs. (Pretty view of the bay over the rooftops.) This was nice for early sleeper and a TV watcher. The master bedroom has a huge closet/luggage area and a KING size bed! Yeah...not many of these in europe. It was so convenient to have a washing machine in the apartment. The apartment is near a cafe, but the thick walls and double sets of window/shutters block the noise and light. In fact, the cafe owner was very kind in helping us find the apartment. Highly recommend this apartment for its location, especially if you do not have a rental car. You can walk everywhere or take the boat taxi. One day we took the taxi to Vrnik, which has many great isolated beach areas, then caught the taxi to Lumbarda, walked (20 min) to Popic winery, caught the taxi back to Korcula. About $20/person for all day hop-on-off taxi. One of the best days of our vacation.

We stayed 3 nights, easily could have stayed at least one more night.

Excellent accommodation

Apartment was very spacious, loved the large shower. Bedroom and bathroom are on the second floor and kitchen/living room on the third floor. Host was very sweet and communicative. The apartment is on a perfect central location. Lots of restaurants around it for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Good place for short stay in Korcula.

Great location.

Check-in time. It should be changed. All other properties have 2 pm for check in and they are ready in advance. This one is 4 pm that is very later for people who travels and tired. The host re-use the same linens and it takes them time to wash and dry them. The cover for sofa bed has to be replaced with something better than small fuzzy coverlet. It provides only 1 pillow! No good utensils and drying pans are all scratched and not usable.

Apartment where you can feel island tradition. Great location.

Apartment is spacious and it has home-like add ons, like fireplace, walk in closet, a lot of paintings etc. It is comfy enough. Location is perfect, 1 minute walk from the city walls. The host Minja was super nice and had great advices. She even secured a parking spot for us, which is a huge plus when staying in Korcula.

Doors should be replaced. You can hear every time someone is on the stairs.

Amazing vacation spot

Perfect location in the center of the Old Town. Very cosy ambient, fully functional kitchen, comfortable living room, surround sound system, amazing view of the sea. Great air conditioning in bedroom and living room. Bed is on a firm side which I prefer. Plenty of wardrobe space, ironing board, as well as separate washer and dryer closet. Overall loved staying at this place, would definitely recommend!

Stop searching and book this one

Everything? Minja was the most fantastic host who helped us a lot. The apartment is on two floors, with a massive bathroom, bedroom and closet downstairs, as well as a washing machine and dryer. Upstairs was the kitchen, dining, living area. The location is fantastic - minutes from the ports and the old town centre. We wish we had stayed longer.

We liked everything - if we had a walker/climber (baby), I’d be worried about the stairs. There is a gate at the top for safety.

It was an exceptional flat in every way, perfectly located outside the old town.

It was so spacious, well-equipt, modern, clean, and more! Spacious bathroom and shower, walk-in closet, very comfortable spaces. Great location - everything was perfect, including the host Minja. We also loved that it was the family home for so long, but updated to a perfect rental unit.

Great, host, stunning apartment and centrally located to everything you nned.

First of all Teo is a great host, and easy to get a hold of. We arrived before checkin and we were able to leave our bags downstairs in the building. Teo met us at the door and carried our bags up to the top floor. He then explained all the details about the apartment. We absolutely loved the artwork in the apartment. They were all family paintings and pictures. Even the dining room furniture and chairs were part of his family's collection. Location is a few minutes walk from the ferry terminal and the old town. Small supermarket was located around the corner. Was a wonderful experience. Teo also provided a few beers, local fruit, water and milk. If you like a shot of Grappa then there was a bottle in the fridge as well. About Korcula, ensure you watch the Korcula Sword Dance "Moreska" was one of the highlights. Also, if you can get out and explore Korcula, beautiful bays, Vaja Bay being one of them. there are heaps of wineries and small towns and fishing villages to explore. Such a beautiful Island.

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing!

We had an amazing vacation at Korčula which started with Minja, the amazing host of this apartment and THE accomodation that was a dream. We felt like home and we left with tears in our eyes as we didn't want to leave🥲. You have everithing that you need and even more. The noise that someone is mentioning is really not bad, but if you are in mid of August like we were you can just close the window and put air conditioning and became quite really fast ;) (good isolation). We will come back for sure and we will recommend this accomodation to all our dear friends. So if you are considering this accomodation, don't think twice as this one is pure love ❤

The apartment is located on a very lively street of Korcula. The sea is within 5 min walking distance. Very clean, two-storey apartment in a historical stone building with a modern taste. All the furniture is high quality. All rooms are spacious and fully equipped. The owner was very helpful.

The apartment Is absolutely beautiful, so homely and has everything you could ever need. The pictures don’t really do it justice. Theo is an excellent host, he showed us everything we needed in the apartment, made recommendations for the best places to go and eat and was at the end of the phone for our entire stay. He even put us in contact with restaurants and taxis on our behalf. The apartment is in a great location, literally minutes from everything you could need.

Das Appartement ist sehr schön und modern eingerichtet. Auch die Schlafcouch für die Kinder ist sehr bequem. Man hat viel Platz, die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Vermieterin Minja ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Die Lage ist top! Parken ist in Parkhaus des nahegelegenen Einkaufszentrums kostenlos (mit Parkkarte) möglich. 100% Weiterempfehlung!

Durch die Bars und Cafés in der Straße kann es etwas laut sein, hat uns aber nicht gestört.
