Nice apartment but on the top of a restaurant

The property location is convenient, being in the old city and it has free access to a parking located outside the property . The house is nicely decorated and the owner is very nice,

The owner didn’t disclose in the advertisement that the property is on the top of a restaurant. While I appreciated that the landlord had installed noise proof windows , these work only if the windows are fully shut ( including the louvers), therefore in the evening we couldn’t enjoy the fantastic view of the port nor enjoy the sea breeze, if we didn’t want to hear the noise of the restaurant ( it close at 11:00 pm ) . The noiseIt is a big shortcoming of this otherwise nice apartment . Booking.com should demand that registered proprieties disclose if their property is near a restaurant .

Great central location with amazing view from living room

Fantastic location, great view, fortunately the restaurant below wasn't open during our stay, very peaceful. Well equipped kitchen. Great view over the water from the living room. Even though we didn't meet Lea communication with her was easy and she responded quickly to any requests/questions.

The water mixer in the shower was extremely hot to touch. It was a little difficult to find the apartment when we arrived. Lea had sent photos, but the photo shows the door being green, the paint has gone, the door is now brown. Maybe comment that the apartment is at the end of the alleyway on the left.

Lea was very kind, and picked us up from ferry port. The location was right in the centre of old town and the view from window was really lovely. We had lovely stay overall.

Not a tourist accommodation but a home!

**I did not stay at this very apartment but a different one offered by the same host due to an issue with availability** Lea is the most wonderful host I've ever had. She met me at the ferry port with a sign with my name on it at 9 am and allowed me to check in this early. She even insisted on carrying my luggage! The apartment was a different one to the one advertised here (she had let me know this beforehand and I agreed). The one I stayed in was right outside the walls of the old town, like 3 minutes away, right on the seafront, with spectacular views. Also at a stone's throw of banks, supermarket and ferry port. The apartment was a duplex consisting of a double bedroom and bathroom downstairs and a beautiful penthouse with a kitchen, living space and a mini terrace upstairs. Everything was renovated, clean and comfortable. The bed sheets and the towels were super good quality, unlike what you normally encounter in tourist apartments. The host also gave me recommendations on activities I could do in the area and never tired of ensuring I was OK and everything was OK. She had even put water in the fridge so that I had cold water in the heat of the summer to drink when I arrived! How thoughtful! There was also salt, pepper and olive oil. Maybe it's taken for granted but not all hosts do this. I have nothing but great words for Lea and her mother, who treated me not like a tourist or a client, but like a guest in their own home. They are a rare gem and I can wholeheartedly recommend this host and any accommodation that she rents.

Nothing I didn't like! Just a couple of comments for consideration but it was NOT a problem for me: - Stairs (no elevator) - No microwave or toaster - Unfortunately, no air conditioning in the bedroom, so the window had to be open and exposed to the live music of the bar next door until it stopped around 00.30 am. I don't normally sleep until midnight anyway and I was on holiday so not a problem, but if you want to sleep early, could be a handicap.
