Starfish Cottage- private beach access- dog friendly

Good size, multiple bathrooms, garden and patio area.

Some elements of the property need refreshing, towels were very poor (we used our own), WiFi was in and out, on a number of occasions we had the circle of death for several minutes.

House v clean & well equipped. Lovely small garden too

Slight difficulty to park 2 vehicles off road but we managed with road opposite.parking. Prefer king size beds but still comfy.

Spacious and comfortable. Had everything we needed for a base for our short break for two friends plus two kids. Access to private beach was a great bonus.

Would have liked softer, fluffier towels other than that everything was great.

The house has everything you'd need (apart from a comfortable bed) There is shower gel & shampoo hand wash & the necessary cleaning things in the kitchen. It was perfect for our dogs with a decent sized enclosed garden. It was very clean. Great location Charlestown is a 15 minute walk down the hill loved the private beach. The host is very responsive & easy to contact. There was a bone & bandana for each of our dogs which was nice.

The bed was extremely uncomfortable the mattress was so hard it was like sleeping on concrete. It's a solid foam mattress with no springs so there's no give at all. We wouldn't of been able to stay longer than 2 nights as couldn't sleep sadly have not come home feeling refreshed. Other people have previously commented on this so it's not just us. I did contact the host about this but there wasn't anything she could do about it for our short visit so no solution for us. I found it difficult to give the overall score as with comfy beds it would of been much higher but if you haven't slept for 2 nights sadly I don't feel I can give this a higher score.
