Good location, comfortable and easy house for a few nights.

The property was in a great location for us, had easy off road parking and was clean and tidy.

We found the bed very small but other than that, it was fine. Some instructions on how to use the washer/dryer would have been helpful. We live in tropical Australia and hadn’t come across this combo. We managed to wash ok but the drying was a challenge, Google wasn’t that helpful either 😁

Very pleasant stay in Carlyon Bay

Location and off street parking

A few minor issues i.e stiff locks on outside doors, blinds not operating properly and instructions on how to use the washing machine would have been useful together with a washing line. Nevertheless a it had everything we needed very pleasant stay.

Our stay at Beach Road house in Charlestown was excellent. My wife, our parents, our dog, and I found it very comfortable and cosy. The kitchen was a standout, and the beds were wonderfully comfy. The backyard was perfect for our dog to roam, and having parking for two cars was a real plus. The house also had a TV, which was great. Overall, we highly recommend Beach Road house for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

Everything was great, but some people may find the bathroom on the first floor a bit small.

Pre-Easter break in Cornwall

Kitchen was well appointed. Sitting room was fine although sofa a little austere. Bedrooms were comfortable and the overall house was ideal for a short break. Location was ideal for us as a base to visit some sites; but a little far away if you're looking for a sea view or 2 minute jaunt to the coast. On the plus side it was right next to a bunch of restaurants and within 3 minutes drive to a supermarket and source of fish and chips. House was nicely warm and no shortage of hot water. The house manager was very swift to respond and very helpful.

Sofa was a little uncomfortable for me. My other half said it was fine though. Beds were comfortable but standard doubles - so a bit tight for those of us with a bit of a tummy.

Great location.

Ideal location for visiting the Eden Project and the Lost gardens of Heligan, as well as Mevagissey and Charlestown. Loved the decor -gave a very 'coastal' feel. Warm and cosy with everything we needed.

The towels and tea towel were a bit 'musty'. Possibly not effectively dried? Tumble drying costs more but it gets towels drier and softer. Everything else was fine.

Home from home. Extremely well equipped. Great central location. Immaculate inside and nice garden with good quality garden furniture. Nicely decorated. Shower very good and powerful and nice deep bath. Parking directly on the drive. Row of restaurants close by. Tesco’s 15 min walk.

We had a great stay at the property and a great location.

Good location, driveway, garden, very clean and tidy. Quiet. Great restaurant over the road. Close to beach and a large supermarket.

My only constructive criticism would be that we would have appreciated a few cleaning materials in the cupboard and a full size ironing board.

Lovely property with all the essentials. Great location close to the beach, supermarket and Eden Project. Good sized rooms and enclosed garden safe for the dog.

Just a few minor things WiFi wasn't the best and driveway a little awkward to get on and off mostly due to surrounding vehicles.

Good location, walkable to Charlestown, drive down to a free car park on a lovely beach (not sure if it's free all year?) Great shower, 2x toilets. Lovely kitchen. Big living room. Brush etc to clean up Lovely enclosed garden Niles bakery so close by that it's dangerous (yum!!!)

Could've done with a few extra cleaning checks ie toilet seat and dishes Not the vendors fault but building works going on on house a few doors down so woken early and noise all day when stayed in.

Was a good convenient location for what we wanted to do in the area. The kitchen was well enough stocked for our needs. Easy enough to walk to local tesco extra and for a walk along the coast.

The beds could easily be upgraded, especially the mattresses, but not the worst we've encountered in the past.

Beach Road is a perfect retreat for a Cornish getaway.

The location was perfect for the things we wanted to do. The house was spotlessly clean with everything we needed. There were two families staying with ample parking for both cars. The house was cosy and modern with lovely decor. A bargain price too for our little birthday weekend retreat. Great little cafe/bar opposite that served the best breakfast and close to the beach, Eden project, St Austell and the beautiful Charlestown. Would recommend this property highly. Thank you for a lovely stay!

There were a couple of things that could have been better. The sofa in the lounge wasn't very comfortable and the sofa bed in the small bedroom was apparently very hard. Everything else was top notch!
