Perfectly adequate, but missing some home comforts.

Comfortable beds, spacious apartment.

Although the facilities were nice enough, it felt a little dated and there was a lack of practical items such as salt and pepper, coffee and matching wine glasses. There was a mix up with the cleaners, which was sorted out but we had to go elsewhere while that was done.

Lovely stay in At Austell in a wonderful, spacious flat

The apartment is beautiful, very spacious, ensuite in the main bedroom, it has everything we needed and more. It was exceptionally clean, the shower is amazingly powerful, and the location was great.I can't fault.the.amenities or the apartment. There are reviews saying there was no smart TV but there is now, and you just have to log in to your accounts (and remember to log out!). The apartment is in a very secure gated community with parking. It also has an amazing view!

The only thing I can fault is that the main bedroom especially smelled strongly of smoke despite the apartment having a non smoking policy. I assume this was from the previous occupant. I have sensory processing disorder so for me that was difficult but my husband didn't care whatsoever, so just a personal thing really. I really cannot fault it otherwise.

Lovely apartment with sea view

very clean, amazing sea views, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, well equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge- perfect for the short break we took. Easy parking. Also a maintenance issue (bulb in one bathroom went out) was dealt with very swiftly by the owner- thank you.

Nothing really- there are a few steep steps to car park and steps to apartment and codes to use, a little bit of faff and if you are older/ unfit bit hard work, but owner explained clearly how to navigate this and this was very minor.

Generally very good, clean, and great location.

The location is ideal to get to most of the tourist sights, especially the Eden Project. The accommodation is a gated property, so you feel very safe. However, the road outside can be busy and although there are speed cations, throughout the night we heard cars/vans speeding up and down it. However, it was a warm week when we went, so we slept with the windows open.

The only downside was the smaller bedrooms' double bed. If two adults try to sleep in it you both roll into the centre, so it definitely needs a more supportive mattress. It was that bad, my husband stayed in the bed and i set up the camp bed with my beach blanket in the lounge area, as my elderly parents had the king bedroom and were super happy and comfortable!

Can wholeheartedly recommend as a pleasant, clean, spacious, comfortable stay.

Great location and good communication with the friendly owners. The apartment itself was immaculate and part of a beautiful gated block with designated parking. Flat was spacious and comfortable and everything worked well. Kitchen was well stocked and a very homely feel.

Would be icing on the cake to have a smart tv so one could watch a bit of Netflix / Prime /YT in the night but they did provide a dvd with a selection of movies and you could at least access bbc iplayer. This is the only minor suggestion otherwise a perfect stay.

The location was fantastic for the Eden sessions Host were very helpful with all details necessary will definitely be staying here again.

Lovely place to stay, perfect for a base to explore and enjoy local landmarks.

Property was clean and bigger than I expected from an apartment.

The road outside was noisy and so in hot weather the traffic noise builds from 7am. Nothing anyone could do about that though. The shower in shower room had fantastic pressure, although the cubicle was small.

Very comfortable, within easy reach of various places, very kind hosts but bathrooms questionable

The location was perfect for our up and coming plans and the hosts were extremely helpful

The main en-suite had a bath only and a hand held shower. It was difficult climbing in and out and water went everywhere. The guest bathroom had a very small single shower, very difficult getting in and out because of the opening and once inside elbows were constantly banging against the walls of the shower. Also, the water did not drain away very fast, it soon became apparent that the shower head 'flow' could not keep up with the drainage. Also, the lock on the door got stuck a couple of times so the occupant could not get out.

Great location. Sea views!. Our family was particularly grateful for two bathrooms. Clean and spacious but also warm and cosy. Everything had been well considered and anything we possibly needed was there.

Our son couldn’t get the DVD player to work. (We were quite ok with that) . My partner found the road outside quite loud… however the rest of us were fine.

Nice tidy place

Size of the apartment was great. Everything you need to cook a meal too. Beds were very comfy, nice carpets in bedrooms. Great view.

I would say that the apartment needs some updating overall. Shower room could do with painting. Just seems like it's not had much spent on it for a while. Carclaze road can be quite busy from early morning as a route into/out of St Austell.

Bad location, poor customer service and they ask you for a deposit.

Hi there will ask you for a deposit and that process will take about 5 to 8 emails from them back-and-forth if you have easy booking that’s not the one. Location is right outside the main road . And to get your deposit back, you have to message them because I haven’t got it back at the checkout. Check out time is 10am check-in is 3pm but they text me close to 5 on the day that my property is ready exactly 16.48 that’s nearly 2 hours after checking supposed to happen all in all I would not recommend also poor customer service.

property was well stocked and really spacious and comfortable

rear of the building parking was a bit of a pain as you had to walk down steps at side and then up to first floor apartment, but if your aware of it not a problem. I parked out from and unloaded suit cases before taking car round back to parking space

Unfortunately the lovely apartment is right on a busy road so if you’re a light sleeper this is not for you. Could do with sound proving windows in bedroom, air con and black out curtains then this would be the perfect place to stay. Still had a great stay though

It was very comfortable and clean. We were there for a wedding, so the iron was very useful! Well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, sofa and easy chairs.

If I'm being very picky, I'd say the en suite bathroom could do with a shower curtain, and the living room doesn't get much natural light so seemed a little gloomy. Small things, though.

very disappointed with access to property, many steep steps, very difficult to take bags in. the bedrooms were right on the road, so very aware of the fast traffic at night The towels were very worn and hard need to up date details of where to go, went to find pub recommended only to find it was closed due to fire need to up date kitchen utensils, i.e spatula when using frying pan felt they were using very light weight duvets considering our stay was in February, winter season, spent most our stay cold not very happy about scaffolding outside window wifi not very good, could not get access on laptop and TV kept cutting out Definitely would not describe property as luxury apartment

The Apartment was in a great location for the Eden project and near the coast. Why pay for a hotel

Lovely family apartment

great size, plenty of space, toys for the kids, 2 bathrooms! lots of dvds for the kids and adults to watch on rainy days. kitchen well appointed with all the necessary.

parking at rear of property, but not overly difficult to manage. glass table top protectors were not secure in living room and bedrooms, could be an issue with little ones. not many places to eat nearby, but excellent Nepalease takeaway!!
