We spent our Christmas holidays here to visit family. The appartment has everything needed, and you have a wonderful view of St Austell and down to the sea from the living room. Tesco Express and Morrissons are within a 10- minute distance on foot, Aldi about 20 minutes down the main road. The flat conveniently has a separate parking space allocated to it, two bathrooms, a travel cot as well as underfloor heating. The landlords were quick to respond and super thoughtful, offering to bring fresh towels and linen after the first week of our stay. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again at some point in the future!

It was a great location for us
It probably had the most uncomfortable sofa Ive ever sat, was like sitting of a park bench so hard. Mattress on the bed was so worn the springs played a tune when turning over. Very uncomfortable

Very clean apart from one stained door.
We didn't get our booking confirmed until we paid another £100 deposit which was a big surprise, and we had to check after that this had not been charged. We got several lengthy texts about towels and rubbish bags and not damaging the walls while we were driving, and just before we got in. Would have been much better earlier in an email. We were told in repetitive texts we had to put our rubbish in a certain bin up at the carpark. We felt cleaners could have cleared a bag. The directions made no mention that there was a drive up to a closed metal gate. This was only labelled with small letters which we couldn't see from the road. We drove past the first time and had to go a long way round. Looked as if it would need an entry code but after waiting a bit the gate opened outwards so we had to reverse backwards before driving in. Text said to park at No6, but lots of warning notices that we would get a £100 fine. Nowhere else to park so we risked it. No way of driving to door to drop off luggage, so a longish walk round, or down some steepish steps with a coded gate, Certainly not accessible for anyone with mobility issues. No house number on keybox. We arrived irritated and uncertain. Sea view was of sea miles away whereas photo on website was taken from the shore. Long way from anywhere. No shops nearby or public transport. Chairs in lounge uncomfortable. No bedside table in tiny double bedroom - could easily have put one with bedside light. Nowhere to put one suitcase let alone 2. No hooks or shelves or stool in main bathroom, so nowhere to put anything down at all. Very stiff bathroom lock, which I had difficulty opening. Bleak white walls with one small picture in the entrance, and one in the bedroom. Kettle large and very difficult to fill at the tap. When I spoke to the owner on the phone, she was very defensive, rather than keen to make improvements and grateful for feedback.
