XThree bedrooms and two baths welcomes up to ten guests in this great Put-in-Bay vacation rental. A large horseshoe driveway welcomes guests. The exterior of the home has a log-cabin look, giving the home a cozy feel. Step inside the rear entry door onto ceramic tile, which continues on into the kitchen and bathroom areas. The eat-in kitchen is equipped to prepare and serve a meal. Additional counter space next to the living room provides a great communal spot to converse. Stepping through a sliding glass door, guests can enjoy the elevated deck area. There is a propane grill and picnic table provided, the spot for an All-American cookout. Bring your family and friends and let the fun begin! The Island Club at Put-in-Bay provides some of the best lodging on the Lake Erie Islands. Instead of being cooped up in a tiny hotel room, rent an entire house for your group. More space and features will ensure you will have a great time during your stay. This home can be rented with neighboring homes to accommodate large groups.

The place was great, very spacious and clean. And even though homes are close together it didn't feel like that at all. Very easy to find everything both inside and outside that we needed. We did only have 1 fork to start with and within 20 minutes of calling someone delivered a set of 8 for us. Pool area was nice and kept clean. We'd definitely come back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We don't normally stay in these types of complexes mainly because they are not available. This complex was really quite nice. I bit wild on Saturday night but it did calm down significantly by 10:00 or so and then quite calm all day Sunday and Sunday evening. Our unit itself was very nice. Clean, spacious, and seemingly the only place on the complex that would handle two vehicles with boats.

We’ve rented many places for vacations over the last 20 years and we’ve almost come to expect poor service, broken appliances and equipment and dirty bathrooms and showers and inattentive staff. Wow,-what a wonderful surprise. It was to stay at Island club rentals. The house we rented was absolutely spotless, including the kitchens, the refrigerator, the bathrooms, the showers, the exterior— even the outside trash cans were spotless and didn’t stink. We had several special requests over the course of our stay and the rental manager always picked up the phone on the first ring and within minutes had staff available to help us with our special request. They even bent the rules for us when we asked. Or outdoor grill had obviously been meticulously cleaned, and it worked perfectly. All we could say is, it was a great experience and this place is managed at a very high professional level.

The only downside was the rotted parts of the rear deck and one of the picnic tables which made things a little dangerous. If those issues were addressed, we would definitely book the unit again!

The front porch light did not work, the back porch light was broken, 2 drawers in the fridge are broken and it seemed to be leaving water in the fridge. The light in the fridge also did not work. The ignitor on the grill did not work either.We would recommend but give a warning as to the party groups that also stay there.

We return every year to the same cabin because it's such a great location. Pool is a stone's throw, but the cabin is nice and private and fits us down to the ground. Not a luxury vacation by any stretch of the imagination, but a wonderful spot to enjoy the island from.

There was also a broken chair in the closet that was there a year ago when we stayed there. Needs better service.

Due to the lack of maintenance and upkeep of the house. We had beer cans and trash out back when we arrived. Holes in the walls and sink. Broken blinds like the place was robbed. We couldn’t open the closets it smelled like mold very bad. The one couch pillows or couch (we couldn’t figure it out) smelled like puke. Beds needs updating as well. I will say the atmosphere was very fun with all the other groups around and it was perfect for a party group. There were positives that everyone was friendly and wanted to have a good time too.

They were polite and very efficient. .The Island offered a lot of fun food and relaxing. But we did notice that the vfloor int he cabinwas filthy. Our 18 month old had filthy feet as she walke barefoot . There was a pile oof sand on the end table. . I just think the cleaners did a very good job. There was a hole in the bathroom wall. , a broken stool in the closet , trim felll off the corner of the wasll My grandson changed a light bulb. A mouse ate the banana bread on the counter,one shower head did not work. I left a note on the counter for all the things we found amiss so that we would not get charged for them . Basucally asll was smooth and fun but the cabin needed some help.

Blinds all broken, grill was filthy with used utensils still sitting on it, the fridge leaked water, the front deck is rather dangerous with its broken spindles duct taped and painted brown, as well as the front door wouldn’t open unless you put your whole body into it, and several floor tiles were broken throughout. It also smelled very, very musty in there and seemed to be a frequent complaint amongst my bachelorette girls. Luckily we were pretty much just there to sleep and explore. Great location due to it being right at the pool’s back entrance. It also had great water pressure, which surprised me considering it’s on an island. I think for the price, it should’ve been in nearly pristine condition. If I ever go back to the island, I’ll likely find a different cabin, unfortunately. There’s a shuttle bus driver named Coconut Pomps - if nothing else, he’s a reason to book at the Island Resort. He’s absolutely amazing and hilarious. A true party bus feel without the outrageous cost! He knows the whole island and gets you there FAST!

Walls recently plastered without paint in several areas and floor vents were plain nasty dirty. Worst was the smell and my 3 y/o bare feet were black within 5 mins of walking on the floor cupboards and table was sticky. We had early check in $50extra and I don’t think it got cleaned. Maintenance man came a few hours of check in to get his fan. Said he was t told we had early check in. I’m guessing house cleaners didn’t get that memo either. I spent first hour cleaning kitchen counters, tables, and tile floors. Bathroom showersx2 and showers were slightly moldy.

Reviewer Comments: My family and I stayed at Island Club several years ago and enjoyed our experience, so this year we didn't look anywhere else and booked our stay with Island Club when we decided to spend our summer vacation in Put-In-Bay. When we arrived at our place, it was dirty. The air wasn't working because the furnace filter was covered in a half-inch of gunk/dust/etc and the floor vents were filled with dirt and gunk. We had to call twice to get a new furnace filter. There was mold in the bathroom and the outlets on the walls wouldn't hold a plug. There were bugs throughout the house. Despite the less than optimal conditions, we were determined to suck it up and try to enjoy our vacation since we were already there. Three nights during our stay, which was during the week, we were kept up all night long by partiers in the community. I understand that it is Put-In-Bay and it is an area that is notorious for party-goers. However, Island Club sends several statements before your stay stressing "quiet hours" and promoting their establishment as a family-friendly vacation area. If you are to say this, there should be someone monitoring and/or ensuring that this promise is upheld. I tried to make phone calls when the noise got out of hand, but there was never an answer. For the price we paid to stay here, I expected much more than we recieved and I would not recommend anyone stay here.

Literally could not walk around barefoot because our feet turned black. There was mold on the master ceiling and had to step over a hole under the carpet to get into bathroom!! One and only ceiling fan didn't work. Maintenance man came on first day said he would replace it and never saw him again. "Stocked" kitchen was limited cookware, silverware and 1 6" bowl with no lid so don't plan on cooking. Drawers fell out when you tried to pull them out. Underwear hanging from tree in front and in backyard all week. No one picked up--for a week!! Holes in the couches which had such a bad stench that the floor was the better option. I took pictures and look forward to sharing them. If we EVER even think about using Island Club again we celery won't rent this unit.
