This is a wonderful apartment located in the heart of Glenwood Springs in a historical building. The place is within 1-5 minutes walking distance to the Glenwood Springs Hot Springs Pool, Glenwood Adventure Company, Amtrak Train Station, Vapor Caves, and Iron Mountain Hot Springs. The unit is Ideally located in downtown Glenwood Springs and is close to shopping, restaurants, and parks. We are located over Outdoor Adventure Company where you can make reservations for excursion and rent bikes or skies. Staying here you can easily walk to the most popular restaurants, activities and shops Glenwood has to offer!

This unit is very private with only one other unit on the property which is also another VRBO.

This property was a great place to stay for the week. We could easily walk to dinner and shopping. We loved having a laundry after doing several days of hiking. It was clean and provided everything plus more. Host had a fan, extra beach towels, and games. It’s those small touches that mean a lot to travelers. Note: Alley and street can be noisy. Several days it was 6:15AM when trash and delivery trucks were outside.

We had such a great time on our quick trip to Glenwood, and absolutely love this property. It’s central, well equipped and so very comfortable. We booked our stay for the entire month of February.The one bedroom apartment in downtown Glenwood was very comfortable and convienient to restaurants and the Hotsprings[walking distance]. This apartment is in a great location-close to shopping and restaurants. The pool is in walking distance-but not in the winter. Our host was fantastic. We had issues with the lock, and unfortunately I had to contact her at 11:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve! She automatically solved this issue and didn't even sound like she was annoyed (LOL). We had a great time!

The place was great. We love the location and the amenities. Unfortunately there was very loud partying/nightclub noise coming from across the alley into the wee hours of the night. Fortunately earplugs helped and the provision of a white noise machine shows dedication to accommodating to your guests.

Excellent location, spacious apartment, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed. The apartment is lovely, with period brick walls and nice furnishings. A helpful information book about shops and things to do in Glenwood Springs. Unless a trip out of town is desired, a car is not necessary. Great restaurants of all types, a lively farmers' market on Tuesdays, outside music on several afternoons. Desiree responded quickly. Would stay again.

Quite literally, this Vrbo is located in the beating heart in Glenwood Springs! We had such a blast being able to visit all the local restaurants and even got to see some live bands! It’s in a super convenient spot and parking is easy enough too. But having everything in walking distance was a super great plus! As someone had mentioned in another review, you are RIGHT next to a bar. With the window AC units, there’s not much noise blocking and the bar happens to be open and playing music until about 2 a.m. so if you are a light sleeper, we recommend keeping the ac unit on and wearing earplugs. The only other thing is if you get headaches easily, it’s probably better to bring your own pillow, the ones provided are really nice, but a little too fluffy for my husband and I. The sheets were SO soft!! We also enjoyed the convenience of cooking and using the fridge/freezer as well! Overall it was a super great stay! Thank you so much!!

The check in process was easy and painless! Super close to all the downtown restaurants and the hot springs. The biggest drawback was the parking. It’s street parking only unless you want to park in a garage down the block, but I definitely wouldn’t trust that situation.

My husband and I escaped the fireworks of our North Denver neighborhood this year and spent the time in Glenwood at this adorable spot! The location is fantastic - nearby all the things. Glenwood Springs is one of my favorite destinations and having a comfortable, quiet place to rest at night made it that much better.

the property is adjacent to a bar and restaurants. they empty their recycling at 2-3 in the morning each night and are unbelievably and rudely loud. didn’t sleep at all.

Brought our two dogs to town for the weekend and had a great time! Parking was very easy to find from Friday night through Sunday morning. Awesome location, walkable to everything you want. Apartment was great and stocked with everything we needed. The host communicated very well, super nice. Would go back again fo sure!

It was great stay. The only issue was the code to the door didn’t work. The property manager answered my call within 15-30 minutes and it all worked out fine.

Home was not maintained, it was very dirty. for example, glass cups dirty plates with food residue, coffee machine building up mold on the inside. Shower was not clean. Noise ordinance was not respected was woken up multiple times during the night. People repeatedly breaking glass outside @1am , neighbors playing loud music till 3am. Didn’t receive a text or email back about the rental till several days later, lacking communication skills.

...but because the location is right in the heart of downtown, there are some downsides as well. Positives: -Location. You can walk to everything in a short time, including the major hot springs. -It's spacious, there were only two of us staying here and it was nice having a separate living room and bedroom. We didn't use the kitchen, but we did use the fridge. -There are TV's in both the bedroom and living room which were great for spending down time watching shows. -Key code access was simple. One code for the street level door and another code for the apartment door. It felt secure. -Plenty of street parking is available, but you'll want to park in the free garage a couple blocks away for anything overnight during the week. Negatives: -Water pressure is my biggest overall complaint. It would keep me from staying here again. It was basically a trickle in the shower. -It's got a musty smell as you enter the building. A little off-putting at first. -The street noise. We were woken up early (5am-6am) both days we stayed here by trash trucks. We stayed on weekdays, but I can imagine the late night foot traffic/noise would be significant on weekends. -The bed is super soft, too soft for us. Both of us had aching backs in the morning after sleeping on it. (though the comforter/sheets/pillows are comfy feeling). It's a good spot overall, we didn't have any major issues. For the reasons listed above we wouldn't stay again, but we didn't regret our stay overall.

We stayed one night in late December. I had to text the property manager with some questions about access and wifi, but she was very responsive. We had a holiday gift exchange and it was the perfect place for that. Everything was great except one of the nearby bars was quite noisy late at night, although after it closed it was very quiet. Also, parking can be a bit challenging on a busy afternoon and evening, but there is a parking garage two blocks away if all else fails. Overall it is a very nice place and we had a great stay.

Beautifully furnished apartment, very comfortable for the two of us. Easy walk to the big Hot Spring in town, but we found the Iron Mountain Hot Springs more relaxing. Nordic skiing is free in Carbondale and Aspen. Re: parking- we found it pretty easy to park overnight on the street. Re: the bars- even on New Year's eve, they were but distant background noise. The 25 steps are 25 steps- but once upstairs, it was a great place to relax.

The property was great! The kitchen was very well stocked allowing us to cook comfortably. It was also spacious, easy to get around, and the bed was comfortable. The location was absolutely amazing - adjacent to almost everything you could possibly want to do in Glenwood! Another great aspect is the property owner sends you the instructions, codes, and basically leaves you alone. Not a lot to do for checkout either - very straight forward and painless! I only have two gripes - the shower head was really not great, and the local pub next door was playing really loud music until about 2am which kept us up. Not the property owners fault, just something worth knowing. Despite that, I would definitely stay here again!

This was our second time to to this VRBO. First the good, location to restaurants, shopping and hot springs is fantastic. The bad,…the bed is a full size and very uncomfortable, the shower head stinks, the hot water was cold, so that stunk. The ugly is getting woken up at 6:30 every day for trash removal. We chose to stay here a second time for the location.
